Great store that I visit every time I get to the area. Loved the smoked duck breast!

The only negative reviews for this place is from people who wanted to act like fascists during covid and force everyone to wear a mask. I commend Quattro's for not being a part of the, trampling on people's rights, trend.

Great butcher; known for very high quality meats and poultry and wide-range of imported Italian pantry staples. Store itself has the charming non-chain feel of a family business. A local institution for decades. Also, in back they have a guns&ammo department for people who hunt and shoot. Really this place is classic.

Traveled a long way to visit this store, as we have purchased from Quatro's at the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market because the service and products are great. However, the woman behind the counter was rude, unwelcoming, and certainly not interested in helping customers. Sorry that you lost out on a large sale---we were going to fill our freezer. Less than one star.

I've bought every Christmas roast and every firearm I own from this wonderful shop since moving to Dutchess County over 5 years ago. You WANT to shop here.

First time visiting and we loved this little quaint store that has lots to offer in meat selections and quite a few food products you don't normally see in other stores.

Discovered Quattro at a Union Square Green market in the early 2000s. Foodies like us had to find the store and some 15 years later we still love to take a ride to the Pleasant Valley shop on rte 44, right off the Taconic Parkway. The store is a bit cramped and really quirky, the kind of store that we enjoy visiting. All kinds of meat and poultry, at prevailing prices, plus grocery items like Martin's Handmade Sourdough Pretzels. On our recent visit we were told that the ownership of Union Square market has changed and some of the new rules are badly affecting vendors and some may go elsewhere. Anyway, the house made pheasant sausage (plain, hot or garlic) which originally brought us in, is still the bomb! Summertime we have been known to use their picnic table to chow down on that sausage and a bag of those hard-to-find pretzels. Finish your visit with some of their excellent soft serve ice cream. In addition to that fabulous sausage, they have various duck preparations, whole birds, beef and game meats which are excellent (not cheap, btw). The lack of staff masking is no longer an issue and yes, there is the gun shop in the back.

Ignore bad reviews from losers crying about masks. The Farm Store and Sporting shop are both top notch. Been going to both for years now and get nothing but good products from both shops.

Very nice place. A lot of good food from local farmers, real food. Also nice supply of wilde game meats, farmers eggs, veggies, international gourmet cheeses and many other items.

Hacked, not butchered.Stopped in while passing through, figured it would be a nice gesture to SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY in tough times, etc.. Bought a $38 chicken and asked that it be cut in 8's. Guy wielding the knife was wearing an apron, I figured he was a butcher. A noble profession that requires talent and knowledge. WAS I EVER SUPRISED when I returned home and opened the bag. Instead of 2 wings, 2 legs, 2 breasts and 2 thighs (that's 8) ...I had a bag of hacked chicken meat. HACKED, not butchered. Dude, there was one other person in the store, the phone wasn't ringing, what the heck was the distraction/excuse. Maybe this is your quiet way of unleashing your anger for having to depend on people passing through who are stupid enough to pay almost $40 for an uncooked chicken. Sure not stopping at Quattro's again anytime soon.

Didn't think to ever leave a review because I don't have time to but hey it's Sunday and I don't have work and was looking at some gun stores in the area. Only been here once but they have a great selection. Saw a Karen post about masks hence this amazing review thank you to Quattros for the best meat and self defense
