I would not recommend using this auction service. The staff was very rude to me, and the auctions are suspicious. You always see the same account names bidding things up... Almost feels like they are inflating bids, but I cant verify that. What I can certify is that you can win an action and they will deny you the sale because they want more money for it. No reserve, and their company name is ABSOLUTE....

Edit: in response to the owner. No I do not have any suspended accounts. Also why call your company ABSOLUTE auction if none of your auctions are absolute. Your unprofessional reply of trying to be slanderous against me proved I am right.Sold As is... unless what you won the item for is not enough for them. They cheat and lie to try to pocket every penny they can. The number of times I have won an AS IS Auction only to be told that the sale is rejected due to the sale price is a joke. Why not just put a reserve on it? Now I make all the arrangements to pick it up because you guys have a 24 hour payment policy only to be told I did not actually win the auction because you did not get as much as you wanted? I won an auction for a vehicle and the payment must be made via wire transfer. The pickup date for the car was 2 days from the auction ending. I had to drop everything and rush to the bank the next day to do the transfer, and my bank told me that for the amount of money in the transfer it can take multiple business days. This meant that AAR would not get the money till the following week and I would miss their strict pickup deadline. They emailed me multiple times and called me asking when I was coming to pick it up. I sent them my proof of wire transfer and they said their banking institution has not got the money yet... So how can I go pick up the car if they don't have the money? Was a disaster. Never will I use AAR again.

This auction company is AMAZING!! Not only have I gotten incredible deals on BRAND NEW items from furniture to rugs, dishes, bed linens, mirrors, art work, and more but if you are into VINTAGE and ANTIQUES without the crazy mark up this is the place!! Also, they are just so nice and fun to interact with when you go to pick up. I can't recommend AAR more highly. I am always inspired by people who love what they do and these folks love what they do. If you need to furnish a home, Inn, B & B, office or even need building materials, machinery, cars, real estate...you name it, they have it. It is a blast to go on the site and see what they have week to week, and the online LIVE auctions are really FUN! Happy hunting!

Jen, Kimberly, & all of the staff made this such an easy, streamlined process for us to sell our car. They took the stress of trying to sell our car privately off of us in a way I never saw coming. I’ve never sold anything thru auction before. This was an eye opener for sure. I strongly encourage you to reach out to them & see what they can do for you. I promise you won’t regret it.I really can’t thank them all enough for making it so easy.

I wanted to share my recent experience with a company that left me feeling dissatisfied. During the scheduled pick-up day, my area was hit with an unprecedented snowstorm, resulting in over 3 feet of snow. Understandably, it was extremely challenging for us to safely reach the company's location. Despite our best efforts, the weather conditions made it impossible for us to make it there. After explaining our situation to the company representative over the phone, we encountered some resistance and were given a hard time about retrieving our items. However, after much discussion, they reluctantly agreed to reschedule the pick-up for the following day, but with a strict requirement of being there exactly at nine o'clock. This posed a significant challenge for us, as we reside nearly 4 hours away from the company. At arrival at the company's location the next day, we were disappointed to find that there were six men present, who simply observed as my husband loaded up 14 pieces of furniture into our vehicle. I had inquired about the availability of manpower prior to our arrival, and the response I received was: "Bidders are responsible to provide the proper manpower to remove their items. Our Gallery team can help as long as it is only one or two pieces and it is safe for them to do so. However, they are not obligated to do so." This lack of assistance, even in lifting the couches, was disheartening.Based on this experience, I have decided not to continue doing business with this company in the future.

Slimeballs. There are auction houses more deserving of your business. Yuck. How a company treats its staff says a lot. Not giving full-time employees proper healthcare or dental coverage (workers with dental issues were literally going without teeth and struggling to eat because of how cheap the owners are) is not a good look. Strutting around bragging about what gun you are carrying that day and frightening employees is not a good look. An owner berating another owner in front of the staff is not a good look, nor does it present a united front on their part. Firing someone for their not having skills they clearly told you during the job interview that they do not possess is not a good look. Finally, making employees come in shortly after a blizzard - and having one of them total their car and incur physical and mental injuries and be left carless - is especially not a good look. These people are backwoods white trash, and greedy at that. Just stay away and go somewhere civilized and reputable. They don't deserve local business, especially when they treat their workers like trash.

Not to bad on the front end organizational side of things, but good luck getting paid if you are a seller. They claim to need 30 days to make sure payments process, which is nonsense, but they are comfortable enough with the status of the money to schedule pickup day for the stuff you sold 3 days after the auction ends. marked up my contract to 21 days rather than 30, they agreed, then failed to follow through, though only by a day or 2 and because of a legitimate mix up admittedly, but when they did send the check, it was post dated to the original 30 day, nonsensical time frame. Auction itself was in my opinion was not particularly well advertised and I felt it under-performed. So if you want to sell your stuff for cheap, and then sit around for a month with your items out in the ether with nothing to show for it for over a month, well,,,, then these are the guys for you I guess. Don't make my mistake, do some research first. There are far better options out there.

Dawn was perhaps the most helpful human I’ve ever known. She helped me figure out a complicated bidding matter and troubleshoot. She was professional, prompt and patient. We are so grateful. My husband and our family are so pleased with this company. They love their items that they acquire at amazing prices. I will be raving about this company for the rest of my life! Thank you for everything Dawn?

I used Absolute Auction & Realty to sell my vast array of construction equipment. Absolute Auction handled the process with me from start to finish with everything from organizing and getting details on equipment to arranging pick up day of equipment and materials. Absolute is extremely professional and highly innovative. For my auction they created a new software program to allow for an inside, 360 degree view of the interior of my equipment and trucks. They will do the absolute best job for you with the highest integrity. I would certainly use Absolute Auction again and would recommend them.

I personally feel that everyone should have a right to put a reserve on their property trying to sell not just a few. I would like to sell some personal items but I will not gamble so they could make a commission. Once you commit there's no control you get what you get.maybe I want to get a certain amount but can't try different venue's because it's winner takes all regardless of price.

First timer at AAR and i can say it was a wonderful experience from auction day to pick up day and all of my 23 building material items were in great conditions. Got to meet Phil the owner and my wife and i had a nice informative chat, awesome man. The movers were a great help and made pick up very easy. Looking forwards to more transactions with the company. I would recommend you to give the company a shot, you wont regret it.
