The worst TJ Maxx I’ve ever been to ! What a mess .. clothes so disorganized sizes on wrong hangers ; clearance all over the place ; regular items in the clearance section; housewares were a total mess , no proper displays ; bathroom of which there is only 1 , was filthy . I drive 1 and 1/2 hours from Montreal to this … never again , hopefully Burlington has got to be more appealing!

I tried to return some items within the 30 day return period and was turned away by the manager on shift. I had purchased my items with a debit card and that card was cancelled due to a fraudulent charge. I informed the manager that my new card was linked to the same checking account as the previous one, but she still refused to even attempt a refund. I asked if I could get the refund in cash and they told me the only option was a gift card. I left and went to my local TJMaxx in Vermont and they issued the refund to my new card without any issues. They even told me they could refund the amount in cash if the new debit card didn’t work. Needless to say, the Plattsburgh TJMaxx does not put customers first and does not make any effort to address their customers concerns.

those who know TJMaxx know what to expect... It can be a bit unorganized at time, you might have to dig to discover that item you are looking for... but the selection is great, always. In this one, the associates are also very helpful...

My husband and I went to the Plattsburgh, Ny TJ Maxx store. He is not a shopper. He was horrified at how filthy the floors were. They hadn’t been cleaned in weeks or months. Piles of dust and dirt. He asked to see a manager. None was available. When he mentioned to the cashier, she stated they didn’t have a cleaner. Very disappointed in this store.

I scored some great finds this trip to TJ Maxx. I almost didn't stop, glad I did. The prices are usually great, the lady that rang me up was super nice. The thing that bothers me the most about this place is the messiness of it. Yes, there are great things at great prices but the people that shop there are so disrespectful and treat it like a bathroom floor. Cannot blame the store or the workers for that. I have worked retail and understand what they're going through, but all of you shoppers that go there and just mess it up ruin it for a lot of other people. Very selfish behavior from adults.
