Worked for a company, who has an account with this bank. NBT wanted to charge me $5, to cash a check cause I don't have an account with them but the company does. Then the teller, had the nerve, to ask me if, i wanted to open an account. My response was a quick, hell no!!!

This bank is shady don't do business with them!!! I've had to report them to the better business bureau. I have a personal loan with them and when I tried to pay it off the stated it's my fault that the account information I gave them was incorrect when in fact it's their phone lines that skip while talking. They continue to charge me interest on my loan while they "looked into it". They also messed up my credit while they were supposedly looking at the issue. They did NOT call back when they stated they would which caused the payment to be "late" which accumulated more interest even though I tried to handle this situation long before payment was even due. They refuse to allow customers to speak to a manager and their customer service representatives shouts at you and will try to talk over you. I am warning everyone not to do business with this company.

Staff has always been nice to me! Funny, the reviewer who says it is run by "children" does not use his real name or offer up any facts to back up his mouth. :-)
