The staff there is always talking to each other in groups in some parts of the store. It's always incredibly difficult to get help or service. When you found one of those groups then you have to wait until somebody pay attention to you while you're standing next to them gossiping and talking about non-work topics. Then it feels like you're disturbing them. They don't usually know anything about anything. I must say Lowe's is among the worst places that I know of for service. I have been living in this area for over 7 years now, so I have been quite often at Lowe's and over to the years I have had good service. But that is the exception and not the rule. I hate to do negative reviews but I would be dishonest if I didn't say this.

This store is horribly managed. You can rarely get through with a phone call and they completely screwed up our purchase and delivery instructions. Very little accountability.

Worst lowes I've ever been to. Staff does not help at all, just keep passing you off to one another. Aisle and bay numbers are incorrect compared to online. Overall awful experience every time. Unfortunately it's the only option

-So our online order delivery is cancelled on the morning of the scheduled delivery for a large appliance. Bummer for us. Looks like I’m burning time off work needlessly today.
called customer service for more info, and I’m told to reschedule the delivery. OK…Asked if pickup is possible(since I took the day off already), answer from customer service is maybe since the item is arriving at the store today by 8AM but I’ll need to speak with the store directly(Plattsburgh). Lowe’s central customer service says they’ll connect me to the store directly to sort it out.
I’m connected to the store, waiting for a pickup. Wait 10 minutes with the phone ringing continuously. Flooring finally picks up(Lowe’s helpline said I’d be directly connected to appliances but whatever)- I tell them what I need- ok I’ll connect you with receiving directly- ok- wait another 10 minutes with a ringing phone(I’m sure every department in the store sees that little blinking light…took the day off so I have the time for this now…) customer service finally picks up- I tell them what I need- patty at CS says it’s not received at the store yet and I should have just contacted the store first anyway(wait…what? Isn’t that what I just waited 20 minutes on the phone for after 15 minutes getting through to the Lowe’s helpline in the first place?) once Patty is done gaslighting me, she finally says just check back later to see if it’s been received, she says the trucks arrive a couple days a week and maybe today but who knows…? It’s obvious that she doesn’t want to disclose whether it’s actually there or not because that would show how bad they are at actually getting the product(which they already charged me for) to the customer(me).
Long story short: If you’re in the Plattsburgh area(and you value your time and sanity), do yourself a favor and just use Wilson appliance. Lowes Plattsburgh doesn’t deserve your business.

Next to impossible to get a hold of customer service, then I place a large order , and they tell me that my card isn't working,lol. That's funny because there was more than enough to cover it. After jumping through hoops , it seems to me that they didn't want to pick the order , because when I talked to customer service on Friday they said it was good to go. Just needed to call back with three digits on back to add delivery. Then Monday before I could call , I checked email and they canceled order . Said it was a problem with my card. Showed pending in the bank. Funny right . Corporations give two craps about you as an individual. I will never shop at this store again!

The plattsburgh location is ridiculous! They are so completely disorganized and rude. I have only met 2 truly great workers there. The curbside pickup is a waste of time. I literally had to track my own order down. Not to mention the 3 other people with the same problem waiting in customer service line. Do yourself a favor and just drive to queensbury!

Store 2693 in Essex is not a good place to work for being a minority I was fired because my supervisor Vera Burt was a raciest and wanted me. Out her department . I have proof she tried numerous of times to get rid of me to the point were she made her sister the little red kitchen lady chef Cheryl strenio come to Lowes called me the N word and filled a complaint as a costumer and got me fired.lowes never gave me a fair fight..BLM..
