Absolutely wonderful! Kyle and his staff have been so helpful with my mother in law’s move. When Colby and Tyler arrived in Alabama they were helpful, courteous and worked so quickly.

My furniture was delivered and four peices were demaged. One bookcase is completely unusable and won't stand up on it own. My bed frame has a big split in the front. One night stand was all banged up and one of the legs demaged and almost gone. Entertainment unit had a chip in the side of it. On top of that had to pay 851 dollars for delivery. Ask if they can take anything off the bill of the delivery charge. They said they couldn't and have to send it to there insurance company and now have to wait and see if I will get anything. The person I talk to said that they will try and fix the problem and send the information to there insurance company. Now it is a wanting game. Tried to email yesterday to see how long it would take them to hear from there insurance. Haven't heard a response back yet. Not to happy right now. Not saying there horrible but just not happy some of my furniture is demaged when it was perfectly fine when it was put in storage. The bed frame and night stand alone to replace them or try to fix it will cost alone 1300.00. So hopefully I get some answers or see a check in the mail soon for the demages.

I called on. Wednesday and provided a list of items we would be moving. I was told they would get back to me Monday. No response. Waited until Friday and called again. Was told someone would call me that day. Now, it’s the weekend and still no response.Very disappointing. Trying to support local businesses but we will be going with an out of area moving company. Very unreliable.

Without a doubt, this was the best moving experience I've ever had. They were very professional, wrapped everything securely, were able to take apart and transport several delicate items including televisions and monitors, they dismantled and reassembled bed frames, tables and desks. They moved everything a few states away and then unpacked and reassembled everything. I'm the future, I would use this company any time I needed to do any moving again, if they serviced the area in which I was moving. Kudos to Carpenter Brothers moving.

Carpenter Brothers just completed my move from Arlington, Virginia to Plattsburgh, New York. Kyle and staff provided an estimate immediately from pictures, which was very accurate and reasonable. The movers parked a large truck in a very small parking place at our high rise near Washington. Then, the packed and carried heavy furniture, china, Crystal, and boxes down elevator from 14 floor, including a long walk to truck. Packed and moved in 10 hours. Delivery was several days later during snow storm. No damage at all. Assembled furniture rapidly. They returned several days to pick up boxes and paper. The movers were responsive, professional, experts at their jobs, and easy to work with. I have been thru 16 military moves and this was a good experience. I highly recommend Carpenter Brothers and am thankful they were recommended to me. Thank you!

Owner is rude. Poor service. Would not recommend them ever. You'd be better off moving yourself.

I hired Carpenter Brothers for a major move of a 4000 Sq. Ft. house. The estimate was for $8000 including packing, and the boss, Kyle, was offering free storage of our things for the week or two until our new home would be ready. It sounded fine until he asked for $19,000 to deliver our belongings because he said we had that much weight. Also, at our request, we asked to have something dropped off at a different address and he said that would be no problem but then said it was part of the charge. After many discussions and arguments, he finally agreed to $12,000 which is 50% more than the estimate. This is outrageous!! In addition, the packing was very poorly done. Clothes were shoved into boxes in any way to fill corners and as a result are all creased and messed up. Several things were broken. Boxes were not labeled properly and contents of various rooms were mixed together so that things are still missing, almost a month later. Some boxes were brought in from other moves they had done and were dirty and marked up. Allthough the head guy was nice, some of the boys seemed very careless about how things were handled. One packer was extremely rude to me and used foul language.I insisted that she leave immediately and i believe she was subsequently fired. I truly regret hiring this company and definitely do not recommend them.

Keep your receipts because according to Carpenter brothers you’ll never be paid up on time and you’ll never be able to access your stuff my stronger until has had a lock even though I’ve paid for 3 months for being late once love it

Carpenter Bros. has handled a very complicated move for us and did it with Professionalism and courtesy. We have moved from a 6500 sq ft home with a 2200sq ft barn, into a temporary home a fraction of the size so they have storage for the majority of the remaining furnishings. They are moving some of our belongings to Pennsylvania and the other half to our home on St. Croix USVI and we will still have storage with them. Kyle has worked with the Air Freight company in Queens to be delivered to Kennedy airport, building crates for priceless antiques and family heirlooms without one scratch and no breakage whatsoever. Kyle & Melissa have been so easy to work with and have taken over the scheduling of delivery to each destination. We couldn't be more appreciative of their tireless work. I don't understand the issue with Kyles movers bc we had Rob and that man is like the Hulk and doesn't stop moving until his truck is loaded. We are Business owners, our Company was Founded in 1892 by my Grandfather and his partner Thomas Edison who illuminated NYC. We know a little something about Customer Service and so does Kyle @ Carpenter Bros! Give them a call, you'll see for yourself. They get an A++

The two men Carpenter set over were fantastic!. These guys were quick and courteous.They handled our furniture like it was their own. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Just threw everything in boxes and hoped for the best. Large boot print in the middle of my television, broken furniture, and none of the boxes were labeled correctly. I've moved 3 times in 8 years and this has been the worst experience by far. 1 or 2 of the workers did a fantastic job but the others were the absolute worst.
