However, one concern is that information about after-hours support was not provided, and the listed local phone number directed to the main office rather than the airport rental location, making it difficult to notify them of flight delays”
“We flew into Plattsburgh and had a rental with another company. The lady at the Avis desk was very helpful and worked with the rep from the other company to make sure we had what we needed. She even retrieved an item left in the car from the other company for us when we returned the car. That is true customer service!”
“I rented here recently on a trip to see my daughter and attend her wedding.
I am 56 year old, and I have never received more care from a rental car service than I have at this location. I came down from the flight and recognized a familiar face I had rented from before, and Agent Brad recognized me as well, congratulating me on my daughter’s wedding, and giving me an upgrade to a larger vehicle for free!
By the time I was signing the paperwork, a line had formed behind me, and Agent Brad still offered to go retrieve the vehicle for me since I had told him I had a bad knee. I thanked him but declined the extra service, as to not worsen the rental experience for the other customers in line.
I will say as well, the vehicles that I have rented from this location are significantly cleaner than ones I have rented in Florida. Thank you very much Agent Brad, and the cleaners who must put in hard work to ensure spotless vehicles upon each visit that I take to Plattsburgh. You guys are for sure, the best.”
