The woman in the front is always so rude and unhelpful. She makes something simple extremely difficult. I try to avoid going here and rather drive a few more minutes to the Modena post office. Something has to be done about this lady, everyone feels the same way about her. I honestly don’t know how she’s been there for so long.

The woman who works behind the counter was INCREDIBLY rude today when I dropped off packages. I had never been to that post office before and she reprimanded me about having the “incorrect” zip code on my package, which makes no sense because it was coming from my home. She also didn’t explain package shipping charges at all and when I attempted to choose shipping, she answered me with such attitude and tried to make me feel stupid for not knowing. Please do better moving forward because the attitude at a POST OFFICE is completely unnecessary.

I have been called ‘b..ch’ among many other things at this post office. They are so rude and pitiful- its surprising any of them still have a job. The staff here is so unprofessional with so many entitlement issues, it’s no wonder many customers, like my self, direct our money to other post offices in the area, post offices that are professionals. In addition, their scale is not properly calibrated so one gets overcharged several dollars. Basically a joke and disgrace of a ‘post office.’

So this review is in reference to: UFN: 356610-0568 Reciept#:840-510500283-24354909-1 Clerk: 07 So it was about 11:30 AM on Wed 6/1/2022. I go to the post office and there are 4 people ahead of me. All I could hear was someone 'crying' and 'whining' that she had to go to lunch at 11:45 AM. I was in a USPS so I wonder who in the world was whining about going to lunch. She ket getting louder and louder that 'she had to go to lunch at 11:45 am' and she was complaining to each person in line about it. Well, turns out it was the Post Master, some middle-aged woman with an accent (strict;y a description so you know who to look out for) crying to each customer about her lunch time. She was trying to shut the doors while people were in line but she couldn't because people were in the middle of a transaction. She was crying about she needed to go to lunch, over and over and over, lunch lunch lunch me and all the customs had to hear. So just letting you know, that is you go to Platekill Post Office, and are lucky enuff to get Clerk 07 (middle age Spanish lady), this is what you're going to have to deal with: you trying to get your Post Office business done while the Post Master (Clerk 07) is not concerned about your Post Office business but that you're making her late for lunch. Pretty sad

After reading other reviews I’m really glad I’m not the only one who has noticed, the one woman who works here (short, glasses and dark hair) is absolutely miserable, rude and condescending. Everyone else that works there is incredible, super polite and helpful and other than the one miserable lady that brings everything down the post office is super quaint, organized and lovey

Super rude and makes you feel like you're d*** and putting her out. Makes you wait while she sits there knowing very well that you are there. Even after calling out a friendly hello, sat there. I hate, hate, hate going there!

Awful. The lady who works there makes you feel like your inconveniencing her when you have to mail something. She makes you feel like you’re stupid if you don’t know what envelope to grab. Very unfriendly and unwelcoming!!!! Don’t go here if you want polite customer service!

The lady who works here is the worst. Unhelpful, makes you feel like mailing something is an inconvenience to her. She charged me for stamps on mail I mailed even though I already had put stamps on them and then got mad after I pointed it out.
