TAKE THIS ADVICE FROM A PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE- DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. Sam deutsch once pulled a blind and deaf cat out of its carrier using a leash and the poor thing was hanging in the air being choked almost to death by the leash while the cat was given a shot. When they cut animals nails the animals always bleed and Yelp in pain. To give animals shots they choke them with a leash and attach it to a cage. It got so bad one day I had to walk out. Please do not bring your pet here. This place Literally traumatized me into a fear of bringing my animals to vets. Sams services might be cheaper but your animal is being abused

We have been taking our cat to Plainview Animal Hospital for years. We love the staff and board our cat frequently there. Unlike many vets, they do medical boarding, which we need since our cat gets insulin shots twice daily. We have tried other vets before in the tri state area (we've lived in NYC for years). However, we continuously make the trip to Plainview Animal Hospital for their level of care and having the options we need for our pet.

After speaking with a friend who is now the SEVENTH! person I've heard blame Dr Deutsch for killing his pet, I have a renewed interest in this. Apparently all the bad reviews were scrubbed from google as well. I will look to correct this. In the meantime, if you're reading this, go somewhere else. Do you really want to add to his death toll?

I have been bringing my dogs and a cat to Dr Deutsch for 25plus years! Always happy his service and his staff is just wonderful and kind.

Dr Sam is a great Vet! He was very kind and genuinley cared for my cat. The service and staff are excellent and I never had to wait more than five minutes. I was able to schedule an appointment the day of. By far the best Bet around!

I have been taking my fur babies past and present to DR.Deutsch for over 10 years, his love, kindness and keen sense with all my animals weather they be dogs or cats, he has his own special bond with them and it shows his true passion and compassion to his patients!

I have been with Plainview animal hospital for a very long time. At least 13 years. This was after I had a bad experience at a different local animal hospital. I have never had a single bad experience with them in all that time. As long as they are in business, I will never take my dogs and cat to anyone else. His office staff is as amazing as he is.

Our dog was seen by doctor Deutsch on June 14th 2018. She was having breathing problems and not eating well . She stayed in his hospital overnight and was given and IV the next day she was x-rayed and blood tested. We were told the results of the test were negative except for 1 lobe of her lung looked a little cloudy. 3 days later on June 17th Roxy was in very bed shape. We took her to an emergency clinic in Plainview and the x-rays and blood work were repeated. This time we were told Roxy had 3 tumors in her lungs that were Probably cancer. Those tumors were never picked up by doctor Deutsch and his x-rays. Roxy had to be euthanize because at this point she was in such bed shape. We approached Dr. Deutsch the following day and asked why the tumors were not picked up on his X-ray he stated to us that he had picked up a cloudy lung and it could be the same thing. I would not recommend using this facility for pet care

This place is outstanding. Excellent front desk service, reasonable prices, and Dr. Deutsch is an Amazing Veterinarian. We bring both our dogs and our two cats to him and have for years. Never a problem. Highly recommended.
