Stolen expensive items!!!! When the fire occurred, our items went missing when going to another unit. It’s disgusting to take advantage of people when a terrible tragedy occurred. I asked to see footage of the many security cameras that they have on property and they are mysteriously not working. This building had a fire on the 4th floor and floods often when it rains. Do not use this facility.
UPDATE: I was ignored as a PAYING customer for theft of expensive items. When I inquired on a solution to this issue I was ignored for weeks and was finally told that because I am no longer a paying customer that they could not reimburse me for THEFT. Why would I continue being a customer when all of my expensive items got stolen?? This business is unethical.

This was a great storage option. Everything is state of the art, and folks were so friendly whenever we came in. There are also flatbed carts that you can borrow when you come in, and the facility is indoors and air conditioned. You control the garage, elevator, and storage unit lock through your mobile phone app, too. Highly recommend.

STOLEN BELONGINGS!!!!! The Plainview facility was unprofessional at best to work with. After the fire we were told we could go and evaluate our belongings that had be in our unit, so we made an appt. When we arrived to our appt we were told we could not go to our unit but the lady that works the desk and a couple of other workers got to go with her. I thought that was odd but I understand for compliance reasons. When she came back down with none of our belongings and said nothing was damaged I found that to be off because she was up in our unit for awhile. We got bare minimum pictures and because I am trust worthy and never though people would take advantage during this time, said thank you and we left. Later that week we got a call they we need to change facilities because one of our surrounding walls in our unit was compromised, so I asked my husband to go and pick up important belongings that were passed down by my best friend who had passed away. Not only were my belongings messed around with and not how I left them. When he came home he did not have the correct bag that I wanted because it was taken out of the other bag it was placed in. Going back a second time to see if I could get my bag it took a while for them to find it in the unit. If it would have been where I left it in the first place there would be no need for a second trip. I also had a Louis Vuitton belt that had never been warn in the box with the dust bag. I go to get my belt out of the box and to my surprise it was gone. It could not have been the guys who moved our unit to our new unit because I got my belongings before we moved. It had to be one of the prior times we had to go back and forth to retrieve my belongings. Moral of the story, don’t use this facility. They are liars and untrustworthy. You think storage is a safe place for your belongings NOT THE CASE HERE AT THIS LOCATION. Mind you my husband went to see cameras and they mysteriously were not walking that day. 0/10.

Would give a zero star if the option is there. I obtained a huge loss as a result of the roof top fire in May, but Safeguard Storage is denying any responsibility to compensate for the loss. Instead, I was told to claim the insurance we were required to purchase which only would pay max amount of $2,000 that is nothing compares to what were lost. They don't care about their customers at all! Go elsewhere for your storage, save yourself some headache

UPDATE- location had a fire due to poor solar installation on roof. 0 communication from safeguard, had to hear about it a week later from a fireman and weeks later have not been allowed access or had any communication from them that anything is going on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.
Great experience at safeguard in plainview. Super easy..priced right..manager was super helpful

The employees here, especially Tyler, have always been extremely kind and helpful to my parents and I through our rental process. We had a big move last year and despite all of the stress it brought, we knew our items would be safe and secure in this facility. We appreciate how clean it is and how secure it feels! I definitely recommend renting here.

Tyler and Emanuela are so professional. They’ve always helped me anytime I’ve had any issues with my unit or getting in and out of the facility. The two of them are superb team!
