I never do a review but I’m really upset with how my hair came out and the experience. I had two parties today and it was raining. I walked in and said I had an appointment with Peggy which is what I was told the day before. They told me Peggy wasn’t there and that I wouldn’t be able to see anyone else. About. 5 minutes later the woman looked me up and found that I had an appointment with someone else and then she said she wasn’t sure what time he was coming in and wasn’t sure if I should wait for my hair wash or if I could get anything done. I asked for the wash and while I was getting washed the hairdresser came in and said he couldn’t do curls while I was under the water he was describing what he could do. I have never had anyone go over my hair during the wash process. He first told me he would straighten my hair only and I said I wouldn’t have came if I knew that was the case. I told him I knew it was raining but to do my hair big. He kept saying what I would and wouldn’t like and I just kinda let it go and “trusting the process”. I left with hair that is fine, he was nice and personable but this is not a blow out and I’m very dissatisfied. I never get a blow out and this literally looks like I rolled out of bed. didn’t say anything which is my fault but I just would not go back.
I sent some friends pictures and they couldn’t believe I paid for this ! It looks like I rolled out of bed.

I had a certificate from my boss for a treatment and a haircut. I told the stylist doing my hair that I had only wanted a small trim because I was trying to grow my hair out. I ended up with layers that I didn’t ask for or want. Which is super upsetting cause it took a super long time to grow my hair the same length after major hair loss. Now I have to start back from square one cause the stylist decided to not to listen to what I had wanted and do her own thing. I’m highly upset with the result I got.

They squeezed my two friends and me in for last minute blowouts for our friends rehearsal dinner and did such a great job. Everyone was quick and friendly. The ladies at the front desk all went to the next level of customer service. My blowout lasted all weekend and all the wedding pictures are fantastic. Thank you!!!

I absolutely love GlossNY. This salon is SUPER busy it's very much in demand. Every time I go inside it's like people getting the most done, in & out but it's super busy. This is a very upscale and super clean salon, honestly very boujee. I usually get my haircuts styled n done by Dianne, she really takes the time with my (difficult, cause it has a mind of it's own) hair. The hair washers are really good all of them. During the holiday season they use this peppermint shampoo it smells so amazing I always love going during December. I'd totally say if you can, make your appointment at least the day before, sometimes it's tougher to get the same day (like I said, busy salon). The owner is also super sweet, he's set up a franchise he also runs Bangz in Bellmore which is closer to me, but I love my Dianne and I would gladly come up to Plainview just to see her do her MAGIC on my hair.

I cannot say enough good things about this salon, especially Liz! I have always been VERY particular about who I let touch my hair for any service and I decided to go outside my element and give Liz a try and man, was I right to do it! I have used Liz for haircuts, blowouts and most recently did a lazio keratin treatment with her and I could not be happier with the results!!! Thanks so much Liz! I LOVE my hair??

Bait and switch, lies about pricing. Called today and couldn't get our regular stylist. They suggested another and told me he would be "a little more" for the cut (she's only getting a trim) and they told me it would be $50. After the cut they said it's $65. First they said I always pay 65 (which I don't) then they said oh it's because she's 13 now, then they said oh well we don't know who answered the phone- and refused to honor the price I was quoted. Total BS. Won't be back.

I called last minute to find someone to put my hair up for my step-son's wedding on a Friday in June. The front desk was kind enough to squeeze me in for an appointment. They scheduled me with Lisa, who did a fantastic job. My hair looked beautiful and held up all day/night. Thank you all for your great customer service and skill!Service: Updos

I LOVE this place! All of the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Frankie did my hair, and let me say, he is a wizard with scissors. My hair has been lacking character, style, volume etc…for the most part of the passed decade. Frankie took one look at the boringness on my head and told me what he envisioned. I figured, let’s go with it and I’ll just trust the process. I’m sure glad I did. I have a ton of very thin hair which can look very stringy and dull at times, but with the cut he gave me I don’t even know how he managed to turned the volume up on my hair. Whatever he did worked like a charm! My hair actually has bounce to it, looks fuller, healthier, and frames my face perfectly. I’m super happy and will definitely be back again.Services: Blowouts

Lisa blew out my hair today and o absolutely loved it. as a hair dresser myself, i never let anyone touch my hair. But i just needed to takr a break and have someone else blow my hair out. I have a lot of hair extensions and its a lot of work to blow dry my own hair. No ones ever been able to give me good volume but Lisa did! And she was so gentle with my extensions. I've been here last year and got a Mocha Keratin done by Melanie & couldn't be any happier with the way my hair came out. About a year later last week I went in again for a Mocha Keratin but this time FRANKIE did my hair. My hair is completely fried. I am extremely unhappy with the way my hair looks right now. I had to cut about 6 inches off and still the rest of my hair is fried, frizzy and terrible looking. I just wish Frankie never touched my hair. He definitely did not use the same product Melanie used for my hair. And not to mention last year I paid less than $200 but this year it was $300Service: Keratin treatments
