The Schottland Family YMCA is like a dream resort for your entire family. The price is reasonable especially big you all are going to practically live there. The pool is like an amazing theme park pool with splash area for the littles and a separate lap pool. There are so many areas you can do activities in: exercise rooms, gyms of all kinds, arts and crafts, food preparation and event spaces. Absolutely amazing. Go check it out today. You will love it. ?

I got the membership for obviously the gym, which I could go elsewhere cheaper, and the different amenities offered such as the 3d printer, kiln, and cutter. I have emailed asking about infoNo one has information except when it is available for useWhen it is available for use, I have come in 3 times. Each time the person running it is not there, and no one else can open it for us.No one can help. No one has info. They simply don't care

Really appreciate most staff kindness and working hard to maintain the facility, but the pool manager (he claimed) really make the worst impression. He seems good at or purposely escalating the situation instead of communication. Can you believe he arranged an adult to a lane where 2 kids were practicing racing without communicating the parents who were on site? He just did it!! Parents always worry injury to kids if the swimming speed does not match. It is always a headache situation when someone is not in the same world of families with kids.

Place is nice and all, but the gym heavily lacks in weights. More than half the time people get a rack they’re spending time walking around looking for weights to use. Not efficient and is discouraging when coming in from work and trying to get a decent workout in before dinner. There should be more plates in the gym than what there currently is.

Our favorite places are the pool and kid play area- I take my grandson weekly and he loves it Also it’s so wonderful to see such diversity of families as well.

Best Y in our area! It has a plethora of machines, workout classes and equipment. There are a few child care options, a fun pool and splash pad area for kids. They also have a sauna and a steam room. The locker rooms are also very clean and there are many community rooms available for special events.

The YMCA has provided my daughter the most amazing swimming lessons over several years. Their instructors have been inclusive and understanding of her multiple disabilities and have encouraged her every step of the way. Our instructors have been just amazing!

I think the Scotland Family YMCA is a great facility and I am happy that I join this Y.But I do 2 times a week Body Pump on weekdays around 10:30 am and it is really bad that it is so crowd that sometimes people had to take a spot on the Studio room by assault and I have seen people getting into the class inside the “closet” because it just overwhelming crowded.Can more Body Pump classes be scheduled between 9 am and 12 noon so we can have more options to do Body Pump?

July is my one year anniversary at the Schottland YMCA. I have always been active and fit, but this past year has taken me to a new level. The Les Mills classes are terrific - Body Combat, Body Balance and Body Pump. Supplementing them with eGym has helped me build muscle mass and gain strength. All of the instructors are outstanding and there is a real sense of community.

The facility is new so there are high expectations..There are ample amounts of equipment to minimize the work out time..The personnel are friendly . But sometimes are hard to locate if a question arises.The facility is kept spotlessAnd has more then sufficient parking .

This YMCA is the second largest in the nation I believe. Excellent staff, fantastic equipment. I am even working to become certified as a spin class instructor and hope to hold classes there in the future.Their free coffee is also amazing!

Fabulous branch! Love the egym equipment & the cycling classes! The pool is spacious and my daughter has a ball every time we go. The little lazy river is my fav.

My wife and I came into the Y today with little notice. We wanted to use our Silver and Fit membership to learn the egym. Normally they take one person at a time through the circuit but extenuating circumstances had us needing to conserve our time resources and we asked if we could get set up together. The trainer named Peter, against his better judgment, gave us that opportunity. He was kind, and he was patient, even with a glitch in the technical aspects of one of our memberships. He was on task and actually got two of us set up for action. We are grateful to him for his dedication and his willingness to work with my wife and I together so we could dedicate our time to both our own physical health and also be present for a family member out of town who is experiencing medical issues. Thank you, Peter and Schottland YMCA.

This YMCA was great. From the moment I entered I was welcomed by a very kind woman who had an apparent affection for her place of employment. She took the time to talk to me about some of the offerings, including the water massager, and urged me to walk around and check it out. This place is huge. The track is very nice as it overlooks multiple sports courts, and the large windows let in ample sunshine. It was clean and well staffed. Every worker I talked to was polite and welcoming. All the patrons who worked out around me showed good gym etiquette. The pool area was nice, and the hot tub had some great jets. Locker rooms were also clean and beautiful. Keep up the great work Schottland YMCA. Maybe an extra hook in the shower as I used one for my towel and one for my shower bag, and I could've used one more. Or if they were double hooks
