Mutual rating. Never been here, but saw this bed & breakfast & left them a voicemail. The owner called back that they have been closed since 2018. They weren’t able to remove the business off the maps. Figured it would be nice heads up by leaving a review for people like me that might have called the owners to reserve a room. Seems like they get phone calls quite often!

I stayed at the Rufus Tanner House when I ran the Wineglass Marathon in Corning NY. This is a really nice B&B in a beautiful part of NY. The room was nicely done with all amenities you could want. The antiques are nice but not overdone. Plenty of warm common areas too, for relaxing with others. I’d book it again.

What a lovely B&B! Rick and Donna are such warm and welcoming hosts (their little dog Chloe gives a wonderful welcome as well). My husband agrees that this is one of the cleanest and most comfortable B&B's we've ever stayed at, and so close to so many attractions as well! I can't forget to mention the breakfast - the hosts outdid themselves with such a wholesome, delicious breakfast, we absolutely loved the baked oatmeal, delish! If you're looking to stay in the area, the Rufus Tanner B&B is the place to be!

We had a great experience staying here. The house was clean and inviting, the owners were friendly and quick to offer help with places to eat and places to visit in the area. Looking forward to going back when the opportunity arises.
