“This is a must see Gallery in Beacon, Ny. Not only are the owners extraordinary artists & wonderful people, they also represent several other amazing artists. (Check out back yard)”

155 Main St, Beacon“Such good vibes and good people. I felt like part of the crew when I got my tattoo done. I was able to coherently talk to my artist to work with them to get exactly what I wanted. They took into account my allergies, which was really important for me. I love that all the different artists here have different styles so if you're looking for something particular there's going to be someone great to be able to help you with it. The place is clean, they practice the right sterilization processes. They also celebrated artists and have art galley showings! The one that was up when I was there was so cool. This is a great place.”

I could NOT be happier with his work. Remember, if you want something done on the cheap, go to a mass market store. If you want something done by a craftsman, go to New Windsor Art & Frame.”

Every second Saturday from 6-8 pm there is a town-wide open studios event and opening for a new exhibition. The gallery has a good mix of paintings, drawings, experimental work and ceramics. There is always something new to see there.”

“Garrison Art Center is an absolutely amazing organization that focuses on learning, community, creativity and growth. Over the last year they have generously welcomed Masha, a Ukrainian refugee staying with our family, into their teen classes. It gives her an outlet to express herself and a chance to meet local peers. I cannot say enough about GAC's commitment to their values, and the beauty they offer to Garrison and beyond.”

428 Main St, Beacon“Attended an event at the studio on Tuesday and it was amazing. The owners are wonderful, and I'm looking forward to returning for a class. This was my very first clay experience so try not to laugh too hard at my cup/bowl or and it was not intimidating. It was fun and definitely support this young small business. Looking forward to a glaze class.”
“Gallery openings are always amazing. Everyone is so chill and nice. Promoting amazing work by artists all over the country for Hudson Valley and elsewhere to enjoy”
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
584 NY-9D, Garrison“Gorgeous spot and super inspiring. I feel like it embodies some of the best parts of the lower Hudson valley; beautiful nature scenes of small Rocky Mountain streams and waterfalls. Their design aesthetic should be more widespread in my opinion. If you don’t want to take the paid tour, you can still park and see some of the grounds for a nice 15 min break off the road.”
11AM - 5PM
1701 Main St, Peekskill“Interesting and unique pieces from local artists and more well know and interesting exhibits. Not very large but just enough to spend a few hours. It was a nice visit with some cool modern art pieces. The only thing I would say is the entry price should be a little lower. It was empty when we arrived which might account for the high entry price. Open only on sat and Sunday with limited hours. It was something different and unique to do on a sat.”
“We went there because we basically missed our train. We wanted to explore the area and stumbled upon this store. The owner David is such a nice person. He single handedly made our day. We chatted, got a book and he even gave both of us hand painted human body illustration of a book he was reassembling for free! Just so we will remember him! The next time I will go there only to meet him, he is such an amazing human being.”
