“Collection of antique books, maps, and prints. Most of their business is online, but it was cool to browse their collection in person. Found a 1901 map of my hometown in this faraway bookstore!”

“The cleanest thrift store I’ve ever been too, and I’ve probably been to hundreds at this point . The home now turned thrift is very well organized, there isn’t just stuff everywhere. 3 floors plus the basement . Highly recommended!”

“Absolutely beautiful furniture. The owners are so friendly and helpful and have an amazing eye for quality. The turn into the property is a bit tricky to spot from the road, but it is well worth taking the time to check it out!”

“This is one of my favorite shops on Main Street. The owner is so super nice and has classic beautiful antique items. Any questions I have the owner happily answers. His prices are very good and he also has beautiful holiday decorations and other classic and retro items. This is a shop not to be missed. I was very happy with a small group of Spaniels I picked up today! I also got some lovely Easter decorations too! I already can’t wait to go back. Thank you Once Upon A Time! You always make my trip to Cold Spring special.”

“We loved venturing into all the wonderful and well curated stores. If you love deco like like we do, check out decologist. He has amazing pieces. We also purchased from Deb at Dilkara antiques all the way in the back with tons of lladro and more. Great prices and selection. If you love Bakelite, be sure to see the man on the right when you first walk in. We can't wait to go back. Great service with friendly people.”

“Stopped in after Mother's Day Brunch at the Roundhouse which was awesome! One of the most historic buildings in Beacon with the finest interior wood work. The building is available for public & private venues, on this day it was displaying a private professional collection of black & white photos of famous & not so famous individuals which we enjoyed as well.”

“I almost never leave the Newburgh Vintage Emporium without SOMETHING! Last week it was a unique Cooper salt & pepper holder for my kitchen countertop. I personally like the one located closet to the Newburgh Beacon Bridge. I find it to be more manageable. While there's also great finds at the Ware-House location on 17K, it takes much longer to look through all the vendors.”
