“Nouveau is a very welcoming & friendly environment, with outstanding customer service. The staff is always friendly and personable, and I've enjoyed small conversations with them every time I visit. The owner Joe, will order anything you want if not in stock.They also stock some unique liquor I've never seen before with prestigious Seagrams, Tequilla, and other name brand special reserves for good price points. Definitely a fun place to look around and learn.”

“The employees were very friendly and helpful. They answered every question we had about in stock wines and specialty whiskeys. The only downside is that it is smaller so if you are looking for something rare, they may not have it. If you are just looking for something to drink with no preconceived idea of what you want, this place would be great for you.”

“Was looking for a Merlot to do some braised beef cooking with. I don't know much about alcohol so I had to request that they give me some guidance. The manager came out and I told him what I was looking for and he showed me a few selections. I ended up choosing the 2020 Bread and Butter Merlot. The other option that they suggested was the Caramella Romagna. Which is apparently a slight bit sweeter. I don't like dry red wine so that's why he made that suggestion. I opted to stay with the Merlot since that is what the recipe called for. The manager was very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have every kind of liquor that you could ever want in this small neighborhood store. If you need your lottery tickets this is the place to go. Fast in and out. “I buy booze often enough and know my way around a liquor store. Had never been to Hoffend’s before, but was in the area and it was recommended. I liked it a lot. Good selection and decent prices. Like everyone their allocation shelf was sparse, but that’s to be expected. Sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I’d go back if in the Mendon / Victor area and in need on liquor.”

“This place hits both service and selection. For a small place it is packed to the gills with all sorts of great bottles. In terms of service I can't name another store with such knowledgeable staff. The manager may look young but he knows just about every bottle on the shelf and is happy to recommend or just chat about all things spirits. You're in good hands as soon as you walk in the door.”

“There's nothing better than getting products right from the source. Their store should be getting a lot more attention in Rochester. I was able to taste all of the bitters before purchasing (I got the classic old fashioned bitters, Turkish tobacco bitters, and habanero bitters), and the Fee Foam all at a wholesale price!”
