It's a shame, I liked the Dr., but when different Dr's. through the practice are able to bill differently for IDENTICAL exams and pictures, sounds fraudulent to me and I won't be going back.

The selection of frames at this location is impressive for the Rochester region. I would recommend shopping here for frames only. Unfortunately, the lenses are poor quality. I had to replace the lenses in my new glasses 4 times in less than 3 months because of flaws/defects in the lenses. There was no resolution and ultimately I returned the glasses for a refund. The experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend purchasing lenses here.

I never leave reviews, but after years of going to Eyesite their poor customer service has me looking for a new practice. I recently ended up in a fairly emergent situation and the office staff (desk assistants & management) could not have been more unkind and unhelpful, regardless of how positive I tried to keep the interaction. They seemed to be trying their hardest to be unaccommodating in an effort to prove a point, rather than having a bit of human empathy, and even went as far as hanging up the phone on me after finally offering an available appointment. I was very lucky my emergency wasn’t more serious as I couldn’t imagine dealing with staff in a more high-stress, frightening situation. Compassion goes a long way, especially when running a medical practice. Dr. Peters has been wonderful as long as I’ve been going there and I’m sad to part ways with him, but would not trust this practice moving forward.

5 Stars from us.... A previous employee referred us to Dr Verone after hearing of our poor experiences at other local offices regarding my husbands specific eye condition. Dr Verone not only goes way above and beyond for his patients but he truly is out for the best interests of the individual. We are so thankful we gave Eyesite a shot !

This place is phenomenal. The doctors here are very tentative, on time, and informative. Things were explained to me in detail. I felt like the doctor took the time to get to know me and my eyes, I wasn't treated like just another patient to get through. It was refreshing. Melisha helped my mother and I pick out glasses. This woman is a magician! She is so nice, she made us feel like a friend. Her suggestions were so on point. She recommended glasses that we wouldn't usually pick, and we LOVE them! The woman has style. I've already recommended Eyesite to all of my friends. Thank you Melisha!

This is the second time we got poor service by the front desk. Today we signed in to see someone to ask a question about my daughters frames. After waiting about 30 minutes I went up to the front desk and asked where we were in line because it had been more than 30 minute. She said we were second in line. As I was asking a mom and son walked in and checked in. Funny thing they were called next and not us. I went to the front desk and said we were leaving since it had been 40 minutes and people walking in were being seen before us. I was told they have no control on who gets called back. I asked why is there a list if they are not going to go off it. And there was no comment. I asked to speak to someone in charge and they said there wasn't anyone here.

I love Dr Verone or would never use this place again. After ordering 3 pairs of glasses, I had to make 6 trips back & forth - one hour each way - to get them adjusted, replacing 2 sets of lenses and finally just returning one pair and having new lenses put into my old frames. I wore sunglasses for this last trip so did not put the new glasses on until returning home - I did check them to make sure I could see out of the new lenses before leaving the eyewear center as the last bifocal was in the center of the lense and I wanted to make sure that wasn't the case with this pair. When I just put them on at home the lense fell out. I'll be taking them somewhere else for adjustment and won't be buying another pair from Eyesight. UPDATE: found another eyewear store & doctor in Canandaigua. MUCH BETTER! Never going back to eyesite again.

I was in Rochester for a family wedding and was having trouble with my glasses that were made back home in Florida. I couldn’t see very well through them because the coating was peeling off. I walked in to Eyesight on the chance that maybe they could help me. I spoke with Karlee at the ft desk and explained my situation. They were able to resolve my situation in just a few hours and thanks to them, I’ll be able to see clearly at my sons wedding. This kind of service is a rarity these days and is very refreshing to see let alone experience. Karlee and the whole staff at EyeSite deserve huge kudos for their amazing customer service and professionalism. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. After being told my glasses would be ready in 1.5 weeks, I called for a status and was told the frames weren't in but that they would call me back the next day with an update. After 3 days and no call back, I called again and was given the same story. At this point I asked for the person managing the store and she told me that the lab guy was getting a status and she would call me right back. 3 hours later I called her back to be informed that the lens were on back order until September, in all colors but yes, they had still let me order that and never let me know. She did say in the most condescending, bitchy tone that they didn't lie to me and that she had the rep calling to see if they could find the frames. I asked to just cancel the order so I could go back the Reed Eye associates, so sad I tried this place, I was told I would still have to pay for the lens! I could also come in and pick out frames I don't want for the lens. Buyer beware, this is a scam place and the management is disgusting!

While I have had glasses provided by Eyesite in the past, I cannot recommend any longer. I had indicated to Eyesite at the time of my purchase that at certain distances I was seeing double. They reground the lenses. I still indicated I was seeing double but not as much. I was told I was adjusting to a new prescription and my eyes would adjust. Well after watching TV with one eye and making other accommodations for nearly a year, I had an appointment with my long time optometrist who indicated that the lenses supplied from Eyesite were incorrect as they added a prism causing me to see double. Minutes ago I brought this to the attention of Eyesite, who confirmed there was a prism that should not have been. At first I was told that it was outside of the warranty period and nothing could be done. And then was told, when I asked to see a supervisor that they would offer 50% off a new set of lenses. I asked how they would assure the lenses were correct, and was told it was their business. Fool me once. They have had problems with their billing systems over the years as well. There are many fine places to get eye glasses, this is not one of them.

Living in Penfield I always went to Eyesite for check ups, glasses and contacts. We moved from the area and bounced around to several eye care places near us. However, I never received the same service as I did at Eyesite. Well I’m now back at Eyesite, and even though it has been some years, the service I received is the same excellent service as before. Dr. Verrone is excellent. He is both personable, knowledgeable and professional. Kris was very pleasant and helped me find frames and the front desk staff was also pleasant and helpful. Great place, glad to be back.
