I have been a client of BANGZ! salon for over 20 years. From a precision bob, a sassy pixie, extensions, and every color from funky platinum blonde to smudge rooted softness to dark and mysterious, Tammy and Tess have made me look and feel amazing. I alway say, "It's a NYC salon in Penfield..all the talent and craft with zero attitude!" and its taken me so long to write a review because selfishly , I don't want them to get busier than they are! The stylists at BANGZ! are all lovely, accommodating, and never have a one-size-fits-all approach, treating each of us like the individual Queens we are. Their work makes me feel like on every. single. time.

I have gone to Tammy for twenty years- she is a true professional- she knows what I like, and what works with my challenging hair. Tammy continues to evolve with the latest styles, trends, and hair care. She tailors her knowledge to bring out the best style in each of her clients. I’ve always looked great after each session.I recommend Bangz for its friendly employees, cleanliness, and top notch experience.

I love going to Bangz salon. I’ve been going for about 12 years. I love how welcoming it is - all of the staff are kind and friendly. It’s always my getaway and I can spend hours there :-)Tammy is my stylist and I’ve always loved working with her because she knows what I like and she knows what’s best for my hair. We can be honest with each other. But what I love most is that she is constantly learning and taking classes to learn new techniques and staying on top of trends.

The ladies at this salon are the absolute best. No matter your hair needs, they will take care of you. I have some very uncooperative hair and they made sure that I walked out with the exact style that I wanted. I always have so much fun while here and I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their hair done.

I can not rave enough of this salon! Today was my first visit and I was paired with Sophia and my eleven year old daughter was placed with Tessa. Both of these young ladies took such excellent care of us. My daughter has never looked cuter and I am so in love with my new cut. This being my first meeting with Sophia, I immediately trusted her to take care of me. Imagine her surprise when I looked her dead in the eye and told her to shave half my head. She was excited and so supportive. Both Tessa and Sophia promised me that they were not moving out of state any time soon so they will be stuck with my family and I for years to come! I can not expresse how wonderful it is to find the perfect salon staffed by the most perfect and amazing crew. If you have short curly hair, this is your place.Services: Haircut

I cannot say enough about my stellar experience with Bangz Salon!!! After over a year of Covid neglect to my hair...last minute family pictures were scheduled- much to my horror ha ha! On top of that, I have struggled to find a flattering cut and style for my curly hair, so I’ve been holding out to find a stylist who could do the Quidad cut and style. I found Bangz Salon because of great reviews online, leading to their professional website. Despite calling with a time crunch, Tammy the owner immediately reached out to find me Jackie, who could fit me in! Jackie called me first to ask questions about my current hair and my hopes for it. I felt so confident in her knowledge and abilities! When I arrived, the salon was trendy and clean! Jackie was so warm and kind! I felt like we were close friends. When I was turned in the chair after my wash, Quidad cut, and style to look at the finished result in the mirror- I literally gasped! Jackie had completely transformed me! It was everything I hoped for...and even better!!! Jackie at Bangz Salon has a customer for life!!! I would absolutely recommend Jackie and the Bangz Salon!

Called three times to get an appointment for my son and every time I called back someone took my information and said someone would call me back. No one ever did. Too bad since I live so close, thought it would be convenient but I’d rather deal with a business that wants my business.

I called and got a last minute appointment for my young daughter. Tessa was wonderful with her and gave her a cute cut with bangs. Such a lovely experience, we will definitely be back.

Tessa is a great person so friendly and so meticulous with her haircuts. The atmosphere at the salon is very homey and welcoming. It's a great place.
