I love how everything thing is setup and easy to find! The bakery is amazing and the fruits and vegetables are super fresh and vibrant. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for me!!!

It's amazing. You have to see it yourself to believe it. You see the fruits stands as soon as you walk in. They have a hot soup section as well as a salad section stands. They have a sandwich area that caters to you with sub sandwiches and wraps prepared right there. A sushi counter. The bakery is incredible with an assortment of wonderfully looking cakes. Heading to the back you have the meat deli. The set up is clean and the isles are neat and clear.

I enjoyed my visit at this shoprite. I was treated well by a greeter. I was directed to bathroom personally. They watched my shopping cart while I used the bathroom. I appreciate that care and attention. Cashiers were ready to help, if needed.

Love the new store! I hope they keep everything they're currently carrying. The deli and bakery sections are great! Now I no longer have to drive all the way to ShopRite of New Rochelle.

I loved shopping in Fareway for over 10 years but as of recently it was going downhill fast. The customer service was horrible and the food was over priced and not fresh and it was looking unsanitary. So, when I saw Shop Rite took over I was happy. They have people greet you when you come in and the staff is great. The prices are much better and they are well organized. You can see a big difference in what it was to what it has become. It’s better then Fareway!! Keep in mind they were remodeling so those things take time but they are now done and it looks great!! I am a happy customer :)

This was my go to market but ever since Shoprite has taken over I've found the quality of things to have dropped dramatically. Especially the organic produce! The once huge selection is now a small corner. Today was the second time in a row I've bought cucumber from them to find out they're yellow on the inside.Seems like the new management has decided to wrap a bunch of their produce in plastic wrap. I don't know how that benefits the shopper. There are some good remnants that remain but if I can't do all, or at least most, my shopping there, it's pointless to continue going.I was an avid shopper here but can no longer purchase here out of concern I'm just buy food scraps to convert to compost and or will end elsewhere looking for what they don't have fresh.

This was once Fairway… many good memories there. I was feeling a bit sad/nostalgia when I saw the new sign. However, after going inside I was pleasantly surprised. Shelves are now well stocked, the fish/meat counter is properly covered, there is a small area for hot food, fresh flowers and above all the employees seem to want to be there. I’m optimistic about this new direction.

ShopRite is a really great supermarket. Good selection, amazing deals, all the things that make a supermarket good. So although my family and I would miss the Fairway, we were super excited to see one open up closer to home. But don't fret, this location is currently the worst of both worlds! The store looks unfinished, with giant tarps put up around certain sections, work lights dangling from the ceiling, rough patches in the uneven tile floor... then there are the nonsensical-for-real-grocery-shopping mini carts, the self checkout that throws an error every five seconds, the staff that seem to have no clue what they're doing, the front door that you can't walk back out of, the holes in the wall where glass should be, the unmarked aisles... some of these are petty complaints, yeah, but they add up to an experience so frustrating that I went to the checkout with four items and left with two because I just needed to get it over with. The only saving grace is that you can still buy sushi, but good luck checking out. They really should've closed the store in order to transition from Fairway to ShopRite, but instead we're left with this mess that barely functions as a grocery store. I'll update the review when it gets better, but HARD pass for now.

Oh, blessed Saint Glickbergs, where have you gone? Seldom has a great institution been so thoroughly ruined. Back in the day, when owned and run by the Glickbergs, Fairway was a great market. It had wonderful products. It had knowledgeable longtime staff. It was the kind of market that made you want to be a better cook. And its arrival in Pelham - to where I'd moved from NYC's Upper West Side - almost made me weep with joy. That's long gone. Now it is a barely adequate supermarket offering the same stuff you'd find in a Shoprite (not a compliment, and not a surprise - it is now run by Shoprite). Aside from being a market that no longer really offers interesting stuff, it's now more expensive. It's produce is crap. I shop there as little as possible; I spend less than a quarter of what I used to, preferring to buy at other markets - Costco, Trader Joes, Stew Leonards. And I very much resent how they've transformed the checkout process. Fairway had long had a corps of excellent, steady, longstanding checkout people. They were terrific. I once observed a checkout woman who noticed that a little kid had wandered into the parking lot leave her register to go grab the kid before she got hit by a car. I was so impressed, I found the manager to tell him how lucky he was to have such a terrific employee. They're all gone of course. Instead, they have self-checkout stations. In other words, Shoprite has transferred the burden and time of checkout from itself to its customers. And they have crappy scanners; unlike Costco's scanners, which work flawlessly, Fairway/Shoprite's are constantly messing up, forcing you to wait until one of their employees comes and resolves whatever the (unnecessary) issue, thus further lengthening the checkout process. I gave them three stars; they really deserve more like 2.5. Dont go to this current incarnation of Fairway if you don't have to. If you hear the Glickbergs have somehow come back, give it a look - those guys knew how to run a good market.

Why 3 star because few weeks ago, I went to Fairway to shop and as soon as you walk-in the smell of the coffee is "Must have" lol and hey shopping and drinking coffee is amazing/cozyWhen I approached the coffee station was one of my biggest turn off I t felt like bacteria, unsanitary, unsanitized specially during Covid19 and even without Covid19 not acceptable, they also have the buffet table open and don't I think is good idea since everybody has different type of hygiene even tho have been there for years but if someone can serve it will be even better in my personal opinion. There's a spot where you can order your Coffee Bean is very open and you can go around and I believe that area should be close and order witho6ŕut passing through the coffees sack.Overall is a good supermarket but definitely some things have to be fixed.

I just came out of the hospital and am very weak so when I stumbled into the store. I got one of the items I needed and was about to pass out. I went to tell them what was going on but started stumbling & one of these wonderful attentive ladies asked if I could breath? The other told me to take a seat & asked what I needed! They went and got it for me! So incredibly sweet! Bless these closing shift angels !
