These guys are great. It was cold and I needed to wait for 15 minutes for my ride home. They were very welcoming and nice. Even brought out a chair for me so I was comfortable while waiting. Good options in stock, but especially noteworthy because of the people! Support this business when you can. They care about their community. 11/10!

My new favorite location. It’s not close by however they carry the Strawberry mule cans that are great and I have been looking everywhere for them! I recommend to give this place a shot.

New ownership. Much better selection, better hours and very friendly. Live nearby and stopped going to the prior one due to several issues but new owners are great. Have been a few times.

Good service and a good place to drink with friends. They have many varieties of drinks to choose from. Their food is also good if you just wanna have dinner. The customer service is really great throughout. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from this place. A good place to chill with your friends the food was affordable. Thank you!

I’ve always loved shopping at The French Wine Shop. When I still lived in NY, it was the only place I would go for my wine. The owner and his employees are always so nice and helpful, and I felt like family every time I walked in. If you’re lucky enough to be there when the owner is, he is always more then happy to utilize his amazing palate to help you choose exactly what flavor profile you were looking for. Every time I’m back in NY I stop in, and so should you!

The man working in this shop was cold, rude and curt. If he is the owner, he deserves to go under and make room for someone who knows how to handle business and people. If he is an employee, he should be fired. This is not the way you handle business in the midst of COVID-19. He had no smile, no wine and no personality, AT ALL. He told me, "This is not the time for browsing, buy your wine and go." Perhaps he's afraid if COVID-19. This is certainly no way to talk to people. I believe it's true what they say, "A person's true nature will reveal itself in hard times." That goes for businesses too.

Service. Knowledge. Selection. The French Wine Shop. Whenever I need any spirits or wine I head to the French Wine Shop without even thinking twice. Its an unconscious reaction: No liquor, need bourbon, blackout, wake up in front of the store. Its like I'm the Manchurian Candidate, except instead of being programed to take down heads of state, I buy liquor at the French Wine Shop. The sales staff is both wise and welcoming. They are able to offer sagely advice on all things wine, champagne and liquor. I've had questions answered on wine parings, cooking and even received help picking out a gift. However, the best part is the personable service. Everyone in the shop is so willing to help and they always try to accommodate any requests. The French Wine Shop is undoubtedly one of the gems of Pelham Manor and a top example of reliability in a constantly changing retail world.
