I've waited several years to write this review, just to be sure. And it's really a shame, because the window tellers are in fact very nice, quick, and helpful.I have never walked into a bank and repeatedly had bad experiences as with this branch. I've walked in working for other people, I've walked in for myself and my business, and without fail, I've been met with awful attitudes from some of the special relationship bankers and the branch manager. Wells Fargo has this quote at each of their branches about courtesy, and I've never seen it. It's been the exact opposite.Whether it's a snotty attitude and sarcasm over getting documents notarized, to being refused business banking services over (literally) a period appearing in one document and not another, it really feels like the leadership at this branch could not care less about fostering real relationships in the community. The M&T branch in town had a similar culture for several years. Coporate changed the senior staff and it's now very pleasant to do business there. After this most recent unpleasant experience, a flood of memories came back to me about the last time the team here was so rude and unhelpful to me. I had actually forgotten about it.I made an appointment at a different branch, was preemptively called and welcomed. The actual appointment went about as smoothly as possible. They actually still had my documents from my original accounts, and certainly didn't turn me away over a period. (I can't get over how stupid that is, but it really happened.) This other branch also waived some waiting periods for me and we're working on business financing and credit.I'll be opening all further accounts with this other branch. They're great. I'll use the Peekskill branch to deposit cash from my business and nothing else. I already made a deposit the other day and the world didn't end!On top of the bad personal experience, I've spent 10+ years observing how poorly this branch treats its role as a business leader in this community. It's a large branch, spanning two stretches on different streets. The walks are never shovelled or salted in the winter. It's a miracle no one has ever slipped. The landscaping is overgrown. There's garbage consistently on the property. And not once have I ever seen this branch sponsor any of the nonprofits or cultural organizations in Peekskill for any of the dozens and dozens of events or pieces of programming that go on. All of this seems like things that Corporate would happily engage in, if they were aware. It really feels like a little hermit kingdom in there, and again, it's such a shame when the window tellers are so nice.By all means, use the branch if you already have accounts open. But if you're looking for any true courtesy, and to have a real working relationship with a bank, go to a different branch. You will absolutely be better taken care of.

This Wells Fargo branch has no respect for its community. Garbage all over the streets and no interest in cleaning up their neighborhood

(Translated by Google) You want to speak with a banker who speaks Spanish and one who only speaks English attends you, you tell him that you want to make an appointment with the person who speaks Spanish and she does not want to forcefully wants to be the one who attends you when in banking matters it is better to speak it in the language you understand best, and ignored what I really needed.(Original)Quieres hablar con un banquero que hable español y te atiende una que solo habla inglés, le dices que quieres hacer cita con la persona que habla español y ella no quiere a fuerza quiere ella ser la que te atienda cuando en temas banqueros es mejor hablarlo en el idioma que mejor entiendes , y hizo caso omiso de lo que realmente yo necesitaba .

My husband and I were a little grumpy about some paperwork we were having to deal with at Wells Fargo, and we had to haul along our toddler on top of it. But Anye and Al were unfailingly kind, upbeat, and helpful, which turned an annoying chore into a better experience. Very impressed with the staff at this branch.

I have been to this bank several times and was always impressed at the outstanding courteous and friendly service. From the moment you walk in, they greet every customer and offer to help. They have an amazing group of bilingual employees that make every person feel at home. The atmosphere is great. Well done!

While the staff is extraordinarily kind and helpful I was recently at this branch on a Friday around 4:15 pm. I noticed that there was an average of 8 people standing in the service line and minimum 6 awaiting special services. I was there for a simple notary but first come first serve respectively. My dread was that there was only 3 people working on special services. I unfortunately had to wait for over an hour to be seen. Perhaps on a Friday before a federal holiday weekend more appropriate staffing would handle the flow. Some folks have second jobs and critical reasons to have expeditious service.
