do not go here unless you want your hair to fall out! fatima is extremelymely rough! she combed my hair dry, no water no grease nothing... a week later i took the braids out and my hair shedded completly. she is the worst braider in the history of hair stylist! do not go here! you will regret it!

This braiding salon is literally a block away from my apartment I called to ask about f they do knot less braids the young lady whom answered the phone was professional so I walked down and to my surprise I was greeted with a smile and honesty the young lady said I’m better off with getting box braids she confirmed with owner Fatima and she stated the same I truly appreciate the fact that the price included the hair I asked how long they said about 3hrs. Fatima the owner was very professional and kind and she did not rush my hair she was very detailed from start to finish braid’s look amazing not tight but secure I will definitely return once I feel like I need to take them out by end of August!

They were rough on my head and the braids were way too tight. The weave was sewn in wrong and it looked like bald spots on my head! They created one in my scalp from pulling my hair too tight then sewing braids on to it. Ouch!! In all my years getting my hair done, I was so disappointed I had them remove my weave and the braids that they put in and I left.

I went here today. Leile accepted me last minute, waited for me and stayed open later then scheduled with no issues no huffing and puffing. I showed her a picture of myself from the past with what I wanted and she did a great job doing her version of it which came out even nicer then my previous dues, thicker and fuller looking braids. Leile took her time to tighty up the runaway strands neatly and perfectly. She was soooo fast btw. Half the time it's taken in past with other girls. Highly recommended! ????????????

I had 10 or 11 cornrows done I only kept the braids in for 3 weeks. My hair fell out. I think it's the hair products they used on my scalp that made my hair fall-out. The salon have no cleaning products for the combs.

If I could give them zero/no stars I would. They are very unprofessional here. The owner Ms.Fatima is a nice lady but her employees simply are terrible. The two younger girls do not braid efficiently at all. Your braids will come out uneven and unsymmetrical because they simply do not care enough. My first time going to this braiders I came 10 mins early and the owner initially started my hair. She washed my hair for me and then combed it and used the blow dryer before beginning to braid. She then received a call and when she got off the phone she told me she would have her niece to come in to finish my hair. I was sitting with my hair like that just out for an hour and 15 mins until her niece arrived and began to braid my hair exactly as is. My braids ended up coming out uneven for my braids in the front and my scalp was extremely dry. If you are looking for braiders close to this location or near peekskill look for braiders in Ossining I promise they have good options such as Nemas braids.

They’re friendly but the young lady rushed doing my hair. Some twists were incomplete and she parted my hair unevenly and sloppy! I made sure they gave me a partial refund smh.Also, they don’t use healthy hair care techniques for Afro hair! I had to ask the young lady to replace the rubber band she placed in my hair with an elastic hair band instead smh. In addition they didn’t spray heat protectant into my hair before blow drying it. I shouldn’t have to tell a professional these things.Service: Box Braids

Very unprofessional and aggressive when doing your hair. After the “service” was done I have a migraine and could barely do anything. The hairdressers don't listen when you tell them what to do with your hair and they except a tip, the audacity of these “hairdressers”. That’s a understatement to even consider them that with the “service” they did to my hair. Not a clean place, they use the gel for everyone that comes in there, and they pull your hair out on purpose to try to make you bald.
