This hardware store is the stuff of dreams.
I guess because it’s actually a Magic Shop. Marty appears from nowhere. He reads your mind. He pulls your obscure request from his sleeve. You enter a Time Machine set to 1950, and he tells you the price.
Meanwhile back at the garage, his doppelgänger reanimates the dead - the once loved toys: broken mowers, troubled engines, exhausted batteries, wounded autos.
He brings them back to life; asks nothing in return. You will love this place.

Marty picked up my dead snowblower from my driveway and returned it in two days to the exact same spot. He charged nothing for the pick up and drop off, unlike the other local repair shop which wanted to charge me $75. One pull on the ignition rope and the snowblower was resurrected just in time for a snowstorm.

Reputable and most of all, honest, which is most important to me. Marty came out and figured out what was wrong with my new Ariens snow blower but didn't charge me. It was because I did not push the machine's throttle upwards upon start up. He's also provide advice on to fix or avoid problems on it and a lawn mover? How many repair shops would charge for doing this? Not too many upstanding people in this world.

I am done with big box stores !!! Marty is awesome he carries everything I need and if not he can order it. He is local business and we should all be supporting his store. You can go to Home Depot and get what you pay for crap. And stand in line to wait on yourself or you can opt for customer service I guess.

This is and has been the go to place in Peekskill if you shiver thinking about home depot. I am a 20 year customer. They moved from main street, the place is smaller, but Marty is still has a wealth of helpful supplies and information. Most recently he helped me during a blackout with lanterns and batteries. 5 stars establishment. 5 star owner.

I lived in area for 30 years of my life and have never felt more unwelcome in a business! Came in offered to pay for a service what ever it would cost. All he had to do was help put weed trimmer head on weed trimmer. I am doing my best to provide for my family with the small jobs I do get. For Marty to straight up just say no and look at me like I am stupid! Thanks Marty for something that would have took you 4 mins to show me how to properly install and pay or just to pay what ever so I could also get a long with my day as well as yourself. Marty is far from great with customer service. I support small businesses all the way and refer business all day and many can vouch! Never ever ever will I give a recommend his services. YouTube can be more helpful and it won't ruin your day with his stink attitude!
