Dirty place. Avoid at all costs. The room smelled so bad. The walls are paper thin it sounded like the people next door were in my room. I left and asked for refund within 45 minutes and was told no.

I'm a nurse working at a local hospital and they were able to accommodate a room with early check-in. Upon walking into my room, the heat did not work and they moved me to another room. The other room was set at 84 degrees (max temp) and it was still FREEZING. Luckily I had my portable heater with me and used that. Not sure what they were doing in the adjoining room, but there was banging for most of the morning. The room was NOT clean (visible dirt on surface of tub, hair in drain, remote sticky) and there were things that did not work (bathroom sink valve did not open leading to water not going down, sliding shower door off the track and could not open/close). Upon checking out, I asked to see if I can get some kind of monetary compensation, but was told I have to speak to the manager who is only there in the morning. Overall, served its purpose as me just needing a bed so I can return to work the same night, but would never voluntarily stay here. They also charge me a full rate even though I was only there until 6PM. Also, the peephole to the front door is HUGE! had to cover..

Sometimes when you pay with a credit or debit card. They will take your money from your account & say they never received it on there side. 2nd time this has happened to me.

This is a very horrible hotel. My boyfriend and I spent the night and had the worst experience. The night we stayed, we had a hotel room next to very rowdy people. We called the front desk many times for them to address the issue but failed to do so. Also, I woke up the next morning with bed bug bites which came to show how unsanitary and unclean the hotel room was. Worst of all, we have been trying to contact the Manager to get our refund and he is never available no matter how many times we call. Overall, this hotel is very unprofessional and we're never coming back here.

The staff was nice, the room didn't feel all that sterile but I have never seen a hotel as clean as I would be comfortable with.On the low end, the first floor rooms didn't feel all that safe , the sheets felt somewhat nasty.But if your destination is Peekskill then the location is gold and it overlooks the river.Walkability: 20 min from Metro north and in Ideal conditions gen get to both Blue Mountain Reservation and the Bear Mountain Bridge Toll trail, sadly for us, the bridge leading to the ladder is closed due to repairs.

The only thing good about this place was the location to where I needed to go. Besides that the room was filthy. The inside of the door was covered in grime, the second night there was a roach on my bed, and when I called the front desk the receptionist asked "so what's the point of your story." They offered nothing helpful to make it better. They couldn't replace the sheets, because the linen closet was locked, the room they offered as a replacement was inaccessible to us, because it was not within walking distance and my handicapped mother cannot walk at 2AM uphill in the rain to what is likely another dirty room.The breakfast was two granola bars.Contacted management multiple times via email and in person to discuss this matter, and has not responded. Definitely do not stay here.Rooms: Dirty, roach on bed, grimy.

This could be such a gem but the bed was horrible, Three Stooges horrible. Lay down and get sucked into the hole in the middle. If you have any back issues, go somewhere else.There is a great view of the river.The staff is very friendly.Work on upgrades, paint, new toilets, better water pressure.It could a diamond in the rough.

Tolerable, but rundown with chipped paint in the bathroom, uninviting shower & a lumpy bed. TV, AC & Internet worked. Stayed one night. Would only return if other accommodations were not available.

When I went to check in, I was the only customer in the lobby and waited 15 minutes while the agent counted out the cash draw from the previous shift. I saw a gentleman who turned out to be the manager and asked him if he might be able to expedite my check in, he told the agent to check me in and he walked away. The agent continued doing what she was doing, then checked me in, 25 minutes after I arrived.I had heard this place had been remodeled and was beautiful, the only thing that hasn’t changed is the magnificent view of the Hudson River. The rest of the place is still a dump, dirty, smells and does not feel safe. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I tried to find other accommodations but everything else was booked solid and this place was mostly empty.Rooms: Old, dirty and smelled like urine.Nearby activities: Close to the Peekskill Train to Grand Central StationSafety: Did not feel safe at all!

The over night woman at the desk was extremely rude to us when we asked for a spare blanket almost picking a fight. Although the rooms were clean there were bugs crawling around. At nigh it was extremely noisy from outher tennants...stayed oct 13 14 15... but the view was good.....

It’s fine, guys! Just fine! No bed bugs. We stayed here while I went to my 50th high school reunion in Croton. There’s free coffee and take away breakfast in the lobby.
