“Great resource you can get almost anything here. I like that you can buy singles of things like specific pencils or brushes. Usually online you have to buy them in packs. Even if you just go in and look around you can often find something new that you want to try.”

“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”

“Great atmosphere for instore gaming. Wide variety of items including hard to find items more than the competition down the block. If they don’t have it ask they can probably get it for you. Great customer service. Table top games, Magic the gathering, One piece, Pokemon and much much more. Worth going in to this mom and pops store, a real gem!”

“Had exactly what I was looking for, even with no experience. I had a tool belt break and needed to sew it up, I had no idea what I was doing, but the worker there was very kind and helpful, showed me where the heavy duty thread and thicker needles were, and even taught me a bit how to use them. 10/10, exactly what I wanted.”

“An absolutely PEAR of an antique store in Pear River. Went on October 3, 2024. The owner was also such a wonderful human being, with the kindest smile, welcoming atmosphere and disposition. His store is packed full to the brim with treasures one could tell he genuinely loves. His passion for antiques and old things is evident. From artwork, pottery, toys, books, sculptures, kitchenware, silver, to military items and more, this antique store will surely have a lovely treasure for everyone to enjoy.
