“Today was my second time visiting Gabriel's and again they did not disappoint. The meat is high quality and so reasonably priced that you feel like you are robbing them. The store is very clean, you can tell they pay attention to detail here and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The lady that rang us up on our first visit actually recognized us and was asking about the meatloaf I had made and how it turned out. The first time we visited I saw they had a meatloaf mix of beef, pork, and veal so I was super excited to make a meatloaf and she remembered and asked how it turned out and how the kids liked it. They have so many great products, they have a cabinet full of fresh buns and rolls right by the deli counter in back that I would recommend everyone trys. The deli meats are out of this world and priced reasonably. Their, hamburger meat, chicken, pork, steaks, roasts, all of the good stuff is all fresh and again the prices can't be beat. I highly recommend this supermarket to all. You get high quality meats at a fantastic price and the staff are so warm and inviting that you feel right at home the moment you walk in.”

“Stopped in for the first time today and it was absolutely adorable and had a unique selection of items. Different jellies and jams, honey, meat and dairy of course. We picked up a pot pie and some baked goods. Definitely would like to stop in again. I highly recommend. They take several different forms of payment as well for those of us who don't carry cash anymore, which I thought was really cool.”

If you know, you know.When you first walk in, it’s a hot service area of fresh cooked Spanish food. I say Puerto Rican, My co-worker says Dominican, either or it’s phenomenal. “Saved me a trip home empty handed.Was on a walk around Amsterdam on a day off from work, taking in the sights, and with a plan to buy dinner from Cuba Havana. However Cuba was closed down, totally, and my second choice was reserved out entirely. I felt kind of defeated, but then I remember that I walked pass a Deli near Mule Fitness.Going inside the place is kind of cramped, not much room to maneuver around the shelves, but if you want to see their offerings for food then it's just pass the register.They have no online menu, and in fact, not even a billboard with what they have to buy. However the guy manning the area gave me a rundown of all the food on sale. I ended up getting a couple Chicken and Cheese Empanadas, a couple of these Croquette (one made with Yuca and the other potato), and a dish of the Chicken Parmesan.Made my trip home and dug into everything. The Empanadas were the best, packed with flavor and delightfully crispy. The Croquettes were ok, but they used ground beef instead of chicken inside which I'm not a huge fan of. As for the chicken parmesan I was shocked at how thick the chicken was, as I'm use to restaurants flattening the patty down to a wafer. This was like a pound of chicken, and was nearly a 1/2 inch thick of meat and cheese. It was almost too much.So I was not anticipating in coming here, but I'm glad to have finally checked the Deli out after having lived in Amsterdam for over 10 years now.”

“Schenectady Trading Company is a must visit place when in Schenectady! The store carries a wide variety of locally made craft and food items that are beautiful and delicious! “A friend turned me on to Pede Bros large round cheese ravioli. What a treat! The pasta has a fresh made texture and taste. Thete is an abundant amount of cheese filling in each ravioli. Only problem is finding them in AZ and CA.”

“We come to the area for my sons races. Staff is always friendly. I was looking for hamburger to make dinner. They didn't have what I was looking for in the food section. I asked the clerk.. they were great! She informed me they didn't carry any,,but they accommodated me by selling me some of the frozen hamburgers they cook! ,,,and they were delicious!”
