We weren't so sure about this place the first time we visited years ago, but recently my son asked for a specific rifle for his 18th birthday, so we thought we would give it a shot first because it was close to home and many of our friends love the place. My husband and son went in to check it out telling the men what they were looking for and told them then would be back soon when my son was 18 and could purchase it himself. A week or so later they walked back in and the guys remembered him and congratulated him for turning 18 and helped him with everything he needed, he walked out a happy guy! A few weeks after that they stopped back in for ammo and the guys were laughing asking him if he was ready for another one. They have made him feel very comfortable and he is looking forward to his next purchase!

This place was nice back when I first started going to this place years ago but over time it just got worse. This guy is a heavy smoker who smokes inside the place, so when you walk into the store it's like getting hit in the face with the amount of cancer stick smoke that's in the place. As soon as he's done puffing on one cancer stick, he lights up another one. With that said, you can not find anything you want in this place. This guy can't get stock in this place. And if this guy does happen to have it, he will rip you off while smiling at you with his cancer stick in his mouth. You're a lot better off if you go to Collector Rifle & Ammo in Hopewell Junction who has everything in stock.

Very good experience. I called Joe, the owner, and asked if he had a certain model Henry lever action, which has been different to locate. He told me he had one and I drove up 50 minutes to get it. Everyone was polite and friendly. I was in and out quickly. Store is loaded with rifles and handguns. Price was better than many other FFL dealers. I recommend Tri County.

Joe is knowledgeable about his products. He has a great selection for the begin to avid shooter. The only thing bigger than his selection is his heart. He donates often to children with medical problems. A great local shop.
