If it’s not on the shelf in the store they have it for me within the week. Products are always clean and fresh. Better than Amazon & Walmart.”

“We just purchased a bearded dragon from Dutchess Exotics and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. It is our first lizard, and so we have much to learn—more than anything we want to be sure we are providing a healthy environment. John was glad to share of his extensive experience. My wife and I both left feeling like we had avoided many pitfalls that we would have blindly walked into had we gone the ‘big box pet store’ route instead.The store itself is also an experience: it is a small shop, packed wall to wall and floor to ceiling with fish, lizards, snakes, birds, spiders, and who knows what else. It may not be Big Box Pet Store pretty inside, but the animals are healthy and John is an expert and willing teacher.I would emphatically recommend Dutchess Exotics.”

Very nice employees- great buy one get one deals and promos, they stock all the top brands, and the coolest part is that I feel like I just went to a zoo for free- they have this large tank and waterfall of koi and other large fish, plus an aviation room where you can be in there with large parts and African greys, among other birds- also the manager has other birds for adoption which is something I can really get behind- support this local gem!”

“I go to the Patterson New York store frequently. The reason I choose to go to this store is because of Erika, the manager. She always gives me a pleasant "hello" very time I go into the store. She has been very informative while making a sincere effort to give the best service possible. She also is amazing at multi-tasking making sure everyone is being taken care of. The store is in good hands with Erika in Charge.”
