Never bringing my dog here ever again!! The heavier set woman hates her job. I was 6 minutes late and was told to reschedule. There was absolutely no one else there and we were only there for shots. I was told i arrived in the middle of my appointment because appointment only last 15 min meanwhile any time I go there I’m waiting at least 10 min for the doctor to begin with. The main problem I had was I was in the parking lot at least for 5 minutes before because my dog was crying shivering and under the seat because she seen where we were which is why I wasn’t there at 10:15. I also have a newborn so for these people to not be able to squeeze in my dog for shots when no one else was there just shows no decency. Next time you are all there on time and the doctor does not walk in at that exact time you guys should walk out since this is how they do things. Tell them now you need to reschedule. More words exchanged but I have written enoughI hope all that work at Vetco see this review and the patchogue location lose patients due to no flexibility no decorum and your arrogance.

THIS VET CLINIC IS HORRIBLE!!!!my dog has a uti infection and needed to get checked out. We had an appointment at 9:00 amWe live all the way in Baldwin, we got on the rode at 8:00am. The drive there was an hour long +plus trafficFrom 8:15 - 8:45 We kept trying to call the vet phone number to let them know that we will be 15 mins late… but it kept going to voicemail and said that they will be open at 9Once 9:00 came we called to tell them that we was going to be 15 mins late… they said that they’ve been open since 8:00am (which is false on the website) and we have to reschedule because now we are late to our appointment…THATS INCONVENIENT AND MAKES NO SENSE .We are the first appointment of the day and they denied it because we came 15mins late when we tried calling them nonstop.Once we came into the vet clinic to ask to have my dog checked, they wanted to call the cops on us for trespassing..THEY REJECTED MY DOG WITH A SEVERE UTI INFECTION!! DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL REFUSE TO CHECK YOYR DOG IF YOU COME 15 MINS LATE

Dr. Donovan and the Vetco staff are amazing! My cat came in for a sick visit and everyone took such good care of him. Dr. Donovan is very kind and thoughtful and was able to answer all my questions and help ease my worrying and get him started on a treatment plan and medications right away. I can’t recommend this Vetco and staff enough. Super nice folks who care!

I discovered vital premier a few months ago and thought it was a great program and raved about it to my friends. I always talked about how good this program was and tried to convince them to go on it because it basically paid for itself and the good rewards. It wasn't until today that I realized that Petco lacks customer service and the pharmacy is clearly very incompetent and loves to make peoples lives difficult. I HAVE a prescription for 6 month supply of simparica for my golden. I ONLY want to order 1 month supply because I am not ready or want to give 200 for 6 months when I can just pay 30 for the one month. I was told that they have to contact the vet to get this approved first and that the vet isn't answering so my order may get cancelled. After telling them MULTIPLE times that my dog goes to the VETCO clinic hey finally are able to comprehend what I am saying. Please explain to me how it makes sense that you're willing to give me a 6 month supply versus a 1 month supply of the same medication? I understand if it was different meds but it's the SAME!!!!!How are you not able to get a hold of the vet who works for your company? How unprofessional and negligent does that sound? I contacted chewy and even they agree that it is so dumb that the pharmacy wont fill my order just because I want a slower supply. I will be cancelling my membership and buying my stuff elsewhere like chewy as well as not recommending you to anyone that I meet. I rather take my dog to an ACTUAL vet that I can get a hold of if I need something or have questions.

Dr Sagle is a Rockstar. We brought our Rambo in for Lyme disease after a nightmare visit with the emergency hospital a month prior. Dr Sagl saw the med dose & said it was no where near enough, hence the reason Rambo really wasn't improving. Once Dr Sagl got the proper dosage squared away, he sat with us & fully explained the process. A day later, he called us to go over the blood results & again, fully explained everything to us. He is very kind, caring & patient.After 2 days on the proper dosage, I can already see an overall improvement in Rambo. If you need a Vet, this is the place to go & Dr Sagle is the man!!! Stay away from Atlantic Coast emergency, they just want to keep doing test after test & cannot even explain what's going on. let alone answer my questions. (Its about money, not the animals) Vetco is fantastic I highly recommend them.

Horrible service the worst wait ever to pick up heartworm meds. Waited longer than people with actual appointments. Nobody can figure out the “new” system. What a joke with these corporate operations save your time and go to a real vet. Nobody cares here.

The vets and vet techs are amazing. You can tell that they all love what they do and put the care of your pets first. I highly recommend. Their prices are very reasonable too.

I've been taking my 3 dogs to Vetco for the last 2 years. The staff and doctors have been incredible whether it's been a well visit for vaccines or more of an urgent visit for an illness. We've been to 3 different locations and all have been equally wonderful experiences. The staff is super caring and friendly and the doctors have all been thorough and listened to my concerns in different situations and taken time to hear me and explain necessary courses of treatment.

DON'T GO HERE! DON'T GO HERE! DON'T GO HERE!!!...specially here, I had a positive experience in the Riverhead location but I came here twice and both times they failed me and my cat. I had to unfortunately put my cat down and I wanted to take her home and bury her but they told me that New York State does not allow euthanized animals to be burned in the ground because it will contaminate the ground water and said I have to pay for the cremation which I did not want to do but they said I didn't have a choice. On top of that, this was the place that gave my cat her terminal diagnosis and told me that once it is time, we will get her in ASAP no matter what our scheduled appointments are. Well, when it was time I called and told them the situation they gave me a time 5 days out, I reiterated my cat's situation and she was struggling and suffering a bit and what I was told in regards to gettingher in ASAP, I even spoke to the same vet tech and secretary and they did not seen to care, didn't care about my cat, didn't care what they told me. The last thing she said to me was call Riverhead... she didn't care about anything except making their money.

Can't get in on an emergency, have to make an appointment and go some where else. If it's not affiliated with Vetco you just get reward credit not $60 off for visit.

Terrible customer service, I was waiting for almost an hour to be seen. When I was waiting to check out after the exam, i was left waiting in the exam room. It was like they forgot I was there, So I went to the front desk to request my paperwork and leave that awful place.
