My Father wanted to get sneakers for the summer. Father wanted to go to Richard York of Patchogue Shoes the service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. Two brand name sneakers for under two hundred dollars.

My 83 year old father has been having problems with his shoes since his feet are getting wider. We decided to try this shop and we were overwhelmed. The owner was fantastic. He listened to what we were looking for, he measured my fathers feet while allowing my dad to sit, and he brought out a few options. The owner helped my Dad get into each pair of shoes and listened to each review. He then pulled a few more shoes. All of the options were good quality shoes. My father is very picky and the owner was very patient. We finally found the right shoes but one was a little tight in the top. They have the ability to stretch and make shoes slightly tighter. In the end the shoes were so perfect that my Dad wanted to wear them home. He wore them for the rest of the day and never complained. I was a little worried about the price with all this service, but the shoes were very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back the next time my Dad needs shoes and I would recommend this place to others. This was a great find.

Walked in for the first time ever after trying to find dress shoes for my son with picky tastes and odd shoe size requirementsLove that they've been in business for 94 years and the place has that kind of ambiance while being well stocked in brand names and all the size variations.Pricing was competitive and the people helping us cared about the experience.

The catch-22 of local business is if you don't shop there, they can't compete. You get fitted, have a knowledgeable owner and quality products.Service is a dying trend because these one star reviewers are killing it. I was happy with my service, product and price. Took off 1 star because a vacuum and few light bulbs wouldn't hurt.

Found a coupon in local magazine. Wow! A+ customer service, welcoming, friendly, integrated to meet your feets needs. Sizes up to EEE-EEE,Arch support, and they fill orthopedic prescriptions. Parking anole behind building, plenty of choices. I compare this to the commack privately owned shoe store and They exceeded my expectation and afforded a additional $5/ off with coupon. When my shoe came in ( my size) they called. Excellent customer service, care and concern all with a set of smiling eyes as socially distanced experience was obvious. They gave a great sale rack too, all sorts of specialty stocks, inserts, etc. A must visit in this quality quaint little village of patchogue.

After months and years suffering with my feet, I just came from Richard York Shoe Store. Richard spent a great deal of time with me measuring, trying, and attending to my feet. I cannot say enough about this kind and knowlegable gentleman...I wound up buying 4 pair of shoes..1 sneaker and 3 sandals. Since I suffer from neuropathy, it was a miracle and highly unlikely to have thought I would find a sandal and a comfortable supportive sneaker! I can't say enough about this store and it's incredible owner. Do yourself and all your loved ones a favor and visit Richard of Richard York Shoes! You won't be sorry! Thank you Richard for everything!! I will definitely be coming back! 10 STARS

Always very helpful. They carry Florsheim which is quality. Better service than going to a chain store. They carry running shoes,quality boots, dress shoes for men and women. They actually size you so you aren t getting the wrong kind. Also carry children's shoes.

A bit over priced and the elderly man that works their the couple times I went was rude so I never returned I prefer to get more for my money and I like pleasant workers but hey that's just me.. Evidently this store has been around for like 60 years so I guess they are nice to the regulars I just don't like being ignored and I can't see spending $90 on shoes when I can get them at another store for $45 improve prices and at least respect potential customers..

I have been shopping here for twenty years. Great service that you don't normally get any more. Good quality shoes. Selection is adequate (not super) but I always find something that I am very happy with that fits my wide feet.

The place is cluttered, and doesn't look like it's been dusted or vacuumed in 20 years. They didn't have what I asked for, so he brought me a few pairs of shoes I didn't want! Not inexpensive, and I wasn't favorably impressed! (2nd review seems the 1st got "erased")
