The worst vet on Long Island. I’ve never spent less than 30 minutes waiting in the waiting room, sometimes up to an hour. They’re always running behind. They don’t understand that we take off from work to squeeze our lives into their limit d schedule, then they make us wait. The waiting room, which was basically always covered in feces, and never cleaned. They are now refusing to see my dog who suffers from allergies because my ex girlfriend told them that we’re looking for another vet. I told them she was not authorized to say that and it’s not true. They said it doesn’t matter, here are his medical records, find a new vet. They don’t care about you or your pets. They care about money and nothing else. No visit is ever simple, it’s always something extra, some new charge, some new rule, some new form of extortion. I can’t recommend more strongly against going to this vet. Apparently they also let receptionists kill dogs. So, good luck!

I’d like to thank the team for doing such a great job grooming Duke. I know he is far from the easiest dog to deal with so I give u guys kudos. Thank u so much. I would recommend the Dr. for any of your pets needs!

We’ve been going to Dr Armfield for years, she treats our three senior chihuahuas and rescue pitbull. She’s a very knowledgeable vet. She has only ever shown our pets and us kindness and patience and I believe she cares for animals with integrity and compassion.

When our sweet boy Tamale passed away we received a letter in the mail from Patchogue Animal Hospital..each person that worked there wrote a little something about our baby. It was extremely sweet and went above and beyond in my eyes. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness that they showed us during one of the most difficult times in our lives. The vet and the employees here are just truly amazing people.

Love Dr. Armfield and her staff! They’ve been taking care of my canine and feline fur babies for years and always handles them gently and properly. They are absolutely sweet and compassionate, no idea why some reviewers are saying anything otherwise. Thank you for all you do for my fur babies!!!

Patchouge Animal Hospital took wonderful care of my dog Fuji over the years. Unfortunately he has passed on and I wanted to thank the Dr. And staff for their support, guidance and love for my dog. They sent me a beautiful condolence card where they each wrote a note in it. Thank you for the excellent care and love you have for our animals. You are a special team!

We've been coming here since Dr. Atlas' time and are very happy with Dr. Armfield, to the point where we travel a half-hour away even though there are closer vets because the closer ones don't even care to get our one dog's breed right. Dr. Armfield is very helpful and knowledgeable, working with us always to provide the best possible care for our ever-changing menagerie of animals!

Dr. Armfield and the entire staff are truly the most compassionate professionals in the care of my pet family members. I can't overstate my level of gratitude and thanks towards Dr. Armfield's team. My pups and cat have been under their care for over 10 years and I drive over an hour each way because they're that good. My 17 year old pup Mochi was declining in health and I was able to properly say goodbye. Dr. Armfield helped my pup increase his appetite and I was able to give him a few days of his favorite food. Last Friday when I brought him in on short notice, Dr. Armfield was able to take us in and was very thorough in explaining the process. The entire staff was there as I said goodbye to my pet companion. My pup was not alone as he took his last breath and his heart beat for the last time. The compassion of the entire team was remarkable, they gave me the time and space to process my loss. I felt the love and care that they have towards our pet companions. Mochi was able to live a full life, loved by his family because of the excellent care he received by Dr. Armfield and her team. They were there for Mochi and I until the very end. I received a beautiful card from Dr. Armfield and the Patchogue Animal Hospital staff today with their comforting words. Saying goodbye to a pet companion isn't easy, but it's comforting knowing that you're supported by veterinarian experts. Thank you

This vet was referred to me by a rescue that my husband and I recently adopted a dog from. My new dog loved the vet and help staff. They were professional and knowledgeable and gave lots of cuddles and kisses to make his appointments as stress free as possible for our new pup!Thanks!
