If you’re considering this shop, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. I absolutely loved my dress in the end, but the customer service was deeply disappointing and made an already emotional process extremely stressful. Every appointment left me in tears due to broken promises and dismissive treatment, turning what should have been a joyful experience into something upsetting. Despite having my bustle “fixed,” it broke on my wedding day, and they’d assured me that the bunched fabric was “normal,” but it clearly wasn’t. I also showed up for confirmed appointments only to be told they couldn’t see me. My mom and I were often met with unkindness, which was disheartening. I’ve since heard that many other brides have had similar experiences, so if you’re looking for a positive and supportive bridal experience, you may want to explore other options.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend for anyone to come here for a dress. The worst experience. The manager Patty was rude and dismissive. I ordered a dress in April and received no notice that he had been in for weeks until September when I called multiple times to check on the status. After that there were multiple mistakes for the dress fittings. The wedding I needed the dress for was in the first week of October and when I went in for what I hoped was my last fitting they had lost the belt I purchased from them. After another rude interaction with Stephanie I decided to take my dress elsewhere to be fixed properly so that I did not risk not receiving the dress I wanted in time. 0 out of 5 stars is needed.
I received a phone call today from the Manager Patty who was rude and dismissive AGAIN. Clearly only calling because of a well deserved bad review, did not actually care what the problem was or how her staff behaves. Please do not waste your time with this bridal shop.

The staff were absolutely amazing. I had such a great experience, they always listened and did whatever they could to help me find the perfect dress. I changed my mind about my wedding gown a few days before the big day and they made it happen for me. I couldn’t thank them enough!

Had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress. Peter and his staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They have a wide selection of dresses all reasonably priced.

Peter and the gang at paradise bridal are so beyond amazing!!! Peter has been in business over 57 years and knows what to do! He listens and helps you figure out what looks and feels the best. My wedding gown was so drop dead stunning!!! I am so pleased with the love and attentiveness I received from Paradise!! We also got my husband’s tux and the groomsmen tux's from there and they were wonderful! Maria makes sure everything fits and looks perfect! Incredible people, huge selection, 10/10 would highly recommend over and over!!

BEWARE! Patty was very deceiving with the terms of her contract. As requested, the balance was paid in full in CASH including alterations. At pickup, she added $140 alteration charge. Paid in full means the balance was already settled. Terrible customer service. Go to Eva’s in Sayville!

Hands down the best bridal store on Long Island ! The selection of gowns , one more beautiful than the next. The entire staff at Paradise Bridals was such a pleasure to work with. I purchased an Eve of Milady gown here. Christina the seamstress made my gown fit like a glove. It felt like it was custom made for me. Maria in tuxedoes is amazing ! Patty the manager is wonderful. Honestly every sales person in the store was absolutely amazing. I purchased my gown here , both mothers gowns were purchased here and the tuxedos were all rented here. Everything came in a timely manner. My entire experience with Paradise Bridals was stress free and lovely.

Went there with my wife for a mother of the groom dress. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The only problem I have is that they were so good my wife had a hard time picking from the dresses she was shown. But I have to say she did finally make a choice and she is very happy and so am I. Plenty of parking and a large selection.

If I could give this store a less than one rating I would strictly based on the customer service experience. I have waited over two months to write this review and been back and forth with myself thinking maybe it was a one off. After much consideration, I have decided it is best to make it known what I and my mother in law experienced. My wedding was 10/26/2023 and my mother in law picked her dress from this store. She had her dress ordered over a year in advance. Once the dress came in there was quite the ordeal to get the fittings squared away. This portion of my story is of course hearsay as I was not present, but being that it is from my mother-in-law and after how I was treated I fully believe her. She informed me that upon her scheduled fitting time there was a bride that showed up almost an hour late to her appt and my mother-in-law was in time for hers, she was unfortunately pushed so that the bride could be seen with no consideration of her time nor an apology. Then for her next fitting which was supposed to be after all alterations were COMPLETED, the dress was still not ready and did not fit her appropriately as a result. Two weeks before my wedding, the dress was still not done. I reached out and spoke with "Patty" who is the manager of the store and from the start of our conversation was defensive and rude. I purposefully called while I was at work so that my tone would be professional. I explained who I was, why I was calling and verbatim stated "I just want to make sure the dress will be ready for my wedding in two weeks." We were to the point of using a completely different dress. Patty told me that she couldn't give details regarding my mother-in-laws dress (couldn't even be bothered to calm my nerves and be understanding. I wasn't asking for the moon. I just wanted to know it would be ready. A simple "Yes, we fully intend on the dress being ready and I am so sorry this is causing you stress. Rest assured the dress will be ready" would have sufficed). I didn't realize that information like that was unable to be given out and still find that to be a bit odd, but it is what it is. The fact of the matter is I was spoken to like I was the problem not the stores lack of ability to perform in a timely manner or show an ounce of decorum. Patty proceeded to tell me I was being extremely rude and that she wouldn't tolerate being spoken to this way. I replied that I was sorry she felt my tone was rude and that wasn't my intention and I implored to her that I needed to know the dress would be ready. She refused to give me that small curtesy. I then promised that if the dress was not ready, I would want to speak with the owner. She told me at that time she was the manager. Fast forward to the wedding day. My mother-in-law did have her dress, however less than half way through the night... the sleeve detached and split. Her dress did not sit on her bust the way that it should of all because the alterations were not done in a timely manner and as such there was no time for adjustments prior to the wedding. She had her dress I believe a day or two prior to the wedding. My real complaint here is more the customer service aspect of things. I don't think what I was asking was unrealistic in the slightest. I also fully expect a response to this review that leaves much to be desired. Full transparency, I also gave this salon a review in the Brides of Long Island to deter any potential brides from sending their loved ones here. Wedding business is hard, but it doesn't have to be complicated by nastiness. Wishing you a happy holiday season and perhaps in the New Year there will be an adjustment of attitudes within your staff.Edit: As you can see below, the response left much to be desired. I would like to clarify I have in fact been a customer of paradise bridal for my sister in laws wedding. I went through the store for my bridesmaid dress. At that time the experience wasn’t terrible. While their selection is limited for bridesmaids dresses, our associate

Patty is awesome--beautiful person inside and out!!! The place is HUGE with such a wonderful selection!! The team made my wedding dress dream come true and tailored it to exactly how I envisioned. At first, I was skeptical reading the reviews but after voicing my concerns to Patty, all concerns were squashed. She made me, my family and friends always feel at home with every visit and try on. Super smooth process!! My wedding dress has wonderful memories associated with it thanks to Patty and her team!

My husband is in a wedding that rented tuxedos from Paradise Bridal and it was an absolute nightmare. We live out of state but the groom was able to submit measurements on my husbands behalf and we sent him the money and he picked it up. We arrived in town the day of the wedding and my husbands dress shirt had a GIGANTIC hole in the side he noticed as soon as he unpackaged all his clothing. With no time to go back to the shop for a new shirt we called and asked if we could have some money off of the already expensive $250 rental fee as this shirt is unable to be used and I had to have a friend run out and grab another shirt for him to wear. Not only was paradise bridal unwilling to accommodate our lack of car to get to their location to swap shirts but they were extremely unapologetic and would not give us a refund. As my husband was talking to them they hung up on him! It is beyond me how they felt okay putting a shirt with this large of a rip in the bag as part of a rental but I was floored by their lack of customer service. Do NOT and I repeat do NOT use paradise bridal. They are super scummy and I can see why their reviews are so abysmal.
