LAMONICAS (front ¢er ) I’ve never been so embarrassed and humiliated by a store owner than I was today ! I received a beautiful ring for my 50th birthday from my sister and I went to get it size and I was told how “BIG” I was multiple times and fat shamed me in front of my children because my fingers were so “ BIG “ and not normal sized !I had to tell him REPEATEDLY to give me the ring back to go elsewhere, I have medical issues and I would’ve paid whatever price it would’ve cost to enlarge it! I cried in my car ! ZERO STARS

The older gentleman who works at the front store (I believe it was La Monicas) was incredibly rude to my mother. She just wanted to inquire about getting a ring she got for her birthday as a gift from the same store resized. He repeatedly said how “big” her fingers were and how big she was. My mother was mortified and left the store crying hysterically. I’ve never seen someone so blatantly rude to a customer. He also gave her a hard time about giving her the ring back, she had to repeatedly ask him to give her the ring back. There was no reason to treat someone, regardless of size the way he treated my mother. If you’re a plus sized individual, I highly recommend going elsewhere. I’m in absolute disbelief as to how rudely he spoke to her, in front of her children too!! I wish I could rate 0 because the customer service was so severely lacking.

Flea markets for the most part on Long Island are a distant memory. This one is a mini flea market with all jewelry booths. Have repeatedly went to see Mike (second booth on far left). Was happy with prices and excellent service. His Mother is tough (in a good way) and a pleasure to do business with.

‼️***DO NOT SHOP HERE***‼️The experience I had with Gateway Jewelry Exchange was not pleasant. I bought 2 necklaces & 2 pendants from the jeweler about 4 months ago, still brand new! The clasps to one of the necklace lost its spring and was not closing anymore. I brought it over to this jeweler (where I got it from) went in to the first booth as soon as you walk in and right off the bat he goes to see how much it weights then says $80. He didn’t even look at the necklace yet until he was done weighting it. I told them I spent over a good amount of money here 4 months ago and he says “well I didn’t break it you did”. I told him I shouldn’t be paying a crazy amount of money just to fix the clasp that simply broke out of no where. He kept accusing me for breaking it. This place is very rude and unprofessional! They do not take good care of their customers. The repairs will cost more than the necklace itself!***DO NOT SHOP HERE‼️ DO NOT GET YOUR JEWELRY HERE‼️***• Failure to own their mistake or accept responsibility shows a lack of responsibility. Yet, blaming others is counterproductive and does not work towards a solution for the common good. Learning to accept responsibility and move forward is one positive solution.• Lack of Empathy• Speaking over others (he will not let me speak so I had to speak over him)

I did alot of business with Gem Gallery in the back right side of the place. They ended up scamming me out of about $ 20,000. They sold me a fake diamond and overcharged by about 500% on everything else. I will never spend another dime on scam artist jewelry booths, take your money to a reputable jeweler.

I like most the stores in here but the first one on the right (A and A) they way over priced me on my "grill". I got two teeth caped just in white gold charged me almost $400 (they spoke to me about doing grills like they did it ALL the time) the end result was anything but good,it never fit well and 3 months later they cracked I ended up scraping the gold for $40!!! ..smh..I like this place just the one vendor took advantage of my good nature that will not happen again! My next grills I will make sure I see pictures of the work they do, years back I got a pair in queens ny and they fit well had 4 teeth done for $250, unfortunately I lost those!!!!

Poor Service from Gem Exchange. Has had our memorial necklace for several months jerking us around about getting it back from a repair he was supposed to do. Said he’d drop it to us because the last 6 times we went there he wasn’t there or the necklace wasn’t there and hasn’t showed up or answered our calls all weekend. Completely unprofessional. Still waiting to get my item I paid for back. So upset that we are in this position.
