This school is an incredible platform to learn the fundamental skills to be successful in life. You learn self defense, discipline, accountability, community, and most of all you become a part of a family that all shares a common goal in helping each other to get better and stronger both physically and mentally. The owner is a true leader and has the utmost respect and admiration of his students. Highly recommend from beginners to advanced skill levels.

Traveling in visiting family from out of town and I have really enjoyed my time training at Freedom Jiu Jitsu. It’s a great gym with great coaches. The community at this gym has welcomed me in quickly.Although my visit was brief, I could sense the dedication and expertise of the instructors. The gym itself was clean and well-organized, which added to the overall positive experience. Even as a one-time visitor, I felt like a valued member of the jiu jitsu community here. If I lived closer, I would undoubtedly become a regular. Five stars for the welcoming atmosphere and genuine passion for the sport!

My son Andrew (8yo) has been taking BJJ classes at Freedom Jiu Jitsu for 4 months now. The Head Instructor / Owner Steve and all of his staff have made us feel very welcome and have answered any questions we may of had as parents. I have watched my son make great strides in class and Steve keeps the enthusiasm level high and the kids motivated. I would recommend Freedom Jiu Jitsu to any parents looking to get their kids into a high quality BJJ program.

What can I say about Freedm Jiu Jitsu… As a retired police officer and prior military, I found a home away from home. Like minded people from all walks of life that share the same passion to learn and improve. This is something everyone should do. It is a humbling experience that will allow you to grow in ways you never thought possible. When you can combine physical fitness with mental fitness, you walk away a better person. This is an endeavor for the long haul. You will not receive immediate gratification. You will grow slowly and strongly. The men and women that train at Freedom are by far the best around. Being the oldest guy there and one of the smallest it is a challenge, but a challenge that makes me a better person overall. While grappling, I get beaten but not beaten up. The owner and teacher Steve Kaloustian is a good man. He genuinely cares about his students and wants nothing more than them becoming successful in this sport. He breaks things down so that even people like me can understand. He goes out of his way to make you better. He has several instructors that are the same. No egos. They all have the same mindset to make you a better version of yourself. Come take a class. Prepare yourself for life because, “Preparedness, when properly pursued, is a way of life.”

Freedom Jiu Jitsu is hands down the best jiu jitsu school around. Top notch coaching and instruction lead by black belt Steve Kaloustian and the rest of our amazing coaches. Very inviting atmosphere, come down and try a class and change your life, it changed mine!

I strongly believe that the best way to grow is by doing hard things with great people. Freedom Jiu Jitsu is all of that! Steve is an awesome owner/instructor who is seemingly always there and teaches a majority of the classes. He genuinely cares about you. Freedom provides great instruction, accountability and friendship. Steve remembers that Jiu Jitsu was created for self defense and that mindset is echoed through his practical and effective instruction. The school has people from all walks of lives and together they’ve created such a great bond and tribe. If you’re an LEO this place is especially great in that you feel supported, surrounded by so many like minded and great people. Couldn’t be happier with my decision to train here.

I’ve been with freedom since 2020 and I’ve met so many great men and woman that I can call friends, it’s very welcoming and inviting. Everyone makes you feel at home, I’m proud to say it’s a second home to me! On top of all that the owner Steve is a great coach and person. He has done a great job bringing in other great coaches and creating a safe, friendly and hard working environment. I couldn’t recommend a better jiujitsu school than freedom jiujitsu! If you don’t believe me just come on down and try a class!

Great place to train for anyone who is looking to step on the mat for the first time to your advanced belts. Steve provides a very welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Steve and all of the coaches are aces with the instructional aspect of bjj and really care for each student to get better each and every day! Highly recommended!

I couldn't be more grateful for having Freedom Juijitsu in my life. You'll learn, you'll push yourself, and you'll get in incredible shape. The challenge of getting Better in one way or another after each class is beyond rewarding. You'll meet an incredible group of men and woman who are all there for the same purpose.
