THE OWNER OF ENGINE TECH BURNEY KNEW I WAS LOSING ANTI FREEZE HE MISSED DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE HE CHANGED A FORD LINE WHICH WAS NEW GO FIGURE AND A BUNCH OF HOSES I SUPPLIED, THAT NEVER NEEDED CHANGING,
IF HE WOULD HAVE PULLED THE SPARK PLUG COILS THE SECOND ONE IN WAS FULL OF ANTIFREEZE, OVER $1400.00 AND THE ISSUE WAS NEVER DIAGNOSED PROPERLY FROM ENGINE TECH IN PATCHOGUE, AS SIMPLE AS REMOVING 2 COILS AND BANG THERE IS WAS
I DO NOT RECCOMEND HIM FOR HES DIAGNOSTIC HAD TO FIND THE ISSUE MYSELF, HES DIAGNOSTIC ABILITY IS NOT GOOD
HIM AND HES TEAM DID NOT FIND THE ISSUE WHICH I FOUND WITHIN 20 MINUTES MYSELF, WE ARE NOW TAKING THE CYCLINDER HEAD OFF THE ENGINE
I CALLED HIM TODAY NOT EVEN A RETURN CALL
I DO NOT RECCOMEND ENGINE TECK OR HES TEAM
NOT BBB ACCREDITED I CAN SEE WHY

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I took my car to 2 mechanics to fix my air conditioner, paying a combined $2,400. In each case, the car started blowing warm air shortly thereafter. After disputing both charges, I brought it to Engine Tech. Bernie and his staff correctly diagnosed the problem and repaired it properly. They are all quite professional and kind.
In an industry that is suspect, this was the proverbial breath of fresh air
(No pun intended), and I highly recommend Engine Tech.

Won't be going back! Too busy defending poor service to actually fix the problem. Zero peace of mind. Guy was more concerned with telling me why they didn't address warning light than actually moving forward with fixing it. I actually heard him making cracks about why I was there to the young girl they have at the front desk. When you bring your car to a mechanic and there is a warning light on, there should be a discussion regarding how to remedy the situation at the time the car is brought in. ESPECIALLY when the car is brought in by a new driver.

Bernie, Rob, and Bernie’s entire staff are THE BEST. Honest mechanic that my dad’s been going to for decades. He fixed up my jalopy to the sexiest it’s been in years (it’s single and ready to mingle). Plus, there’s always good banter in the office and genuine warmth. What more can you ask for??

Was referred here by a friend of mine. Rob & Bernie took GREAT care of me. Squeezed me in and finished my car in a little over an hour and a half. Great people to talk to. Very friendly team.
