Have had their service for the past 7 years until a week ago. Called to let them know I was below 10%. Totally my fault due to the fact I was out of town for 2 weeks. Tried to schedule a fillup but Darcy said their driver wouldn't be in the area till next week. She was very rude and very unprofessional. Didn't have heat or hot water for a week and a half. I contacted another company and had a tank brought out and propane the next day. I wouldn't recommend Neil's propane to anyone. Their unprofessionalism and rude remarks on the phone was a complete turnoff. I hope they come and pickup their tank before I start charging them a storage fee. They (Darcy) totally lack any customer service qualities. Very, very disappointed in their service and attitude.

The woman who handles the phone calls (when and if they ever answer) is one of the most unprofessional people I’ve dealt with. She is the owner of the company and acts like an uneducated, child. I called for weeks to have a fill before I ran out, to which they didn’t come. She stated it was because it wasn’t prepaid, when I had no balance owed. The previous fill cost $900, with a $150 emergency service fee, yet they won’t deliver the product upon calling for weeks. She stated all companies charge fees, yet, doesn’t understand the correlation of a customer calling for weeks, so I shouldn’t be charged an additional fee. She then proceeds to scream, and yell on the phone. At one point in the conversation, I did ask if she had beyond a high school education because I couldn’t fathom a business owner behaving in the manner she does in speaking to customers that way.

I'm really disappointed in Neil's after being a very pleased customer for almost 7 years. I love to support a family owned local business but we may be looking elsewhere for our propane fill ups. We called a month ago to get the summer rate but no one ever showed up. When we called to let them know, they said they'd honor the summer rate and would send someone out to fill it. That was a week ago and still no one has shown up. You'd think if you forgot a customer for a month, you'd act quickly to rectify the situation. To add insult to injury, we've seen a Neil's propane truck just a few streets over from ours about 2 weeks ago so they must have been in the vicinity. We've always sent cash payment the day we get the bill so I'm not sure why we are being ignored, we aren't bad customers, but this may be the last for us. I will be back to update my review if they make the situation right.

I called a week and a half ago when my tank was at 30% still waiting for propane. I only live 20minutes from their location, with the weather taking a quick cold turn they don't care if I have heat at all. Absolutely ridiculous. They're just going to let me freeze.

I am a fairly new customer who has paid cash at the time of delivery for EVERY order that I have placed. In addition to this I have provided ample notice for each order while my tank is at or above 35% of the tank’s capacity.
After placing an order last week they left me a voice mail a week later after 5 pm telling me I needed contact them by 8 am the next morning to receive a delivery for an order that I placed a week ago. I mentioned to the secretary that if they provided me more notice I would make sure to have cash ready for the driver next time so they wouldn’t have to pay the processor fees when I use my debit card.
To top it off: I paid the secretary $440 prior to the delivery, and she wasn’t polite enough to say thank you!
Their customer service is sub par, very unprofessional, and rude. Would NOT recommend to ANYONE.

I have always loved to give them my service. Such kind and friendly people. Always have cool little gadgets to promote them I love their goodies and would recommend them to any and all people for their propane needs.

We built our home almost 14 years ago and have had Neil's Propane supplying our fuel since day one. We have been so pleased with the way they have taken care of us through the years. We feel like they are part of our family now. They are always professional and on-time and go above and beyond our expectations. But the best part of Neil's Propane is that they are so friendly. It's so nice to find good, friendly people on the other end of the phone. Everyone, from Tom and Darcy on the phone to the friendly, expert drivers delivering the propane has a smile and a friendly word. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.
