I randomly discovered Rip and Wolf while heading to Kaaterskill Falls. They have a great selection of wines and spirits! Willow was very friendly and helped me pick out a local whiskey. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area!

Amazing wine shop in the Catskills. Highly recommend stopping to browse and shop if staying nearby. The staff have curated an excellent selection of small batch wines and liquors. Better than most wine shops in NYC! They are super helpful picking out options too.

Discovered this shop on a recent trip to the Catskills and felt compelled to write a review a how wonderful it was! The person working when we came was not only super helpful, going above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for, but she also gave us incredible advice for local places to go that evening, which made our evening in the area so wonderful. Thank you!

Do you also need to purchase all sorts of alcoholic beverages to get through the holidays with your family? Rip & Wolf's got you. This lovely little shop is new to me (only open since Memorial Day), and it's just about everything I want in a wine/booze shop. The selection is excellent, the lady running it was super friendly and knowledgeable, and they had all the vodka/wine/bourbon/canned beverages, etc. They had a cute lineup of carefully curated Thanksgiving wine bags (a great idea), but we went off the reservation and picked up an orange gruner, a sauvignon blanc, and a couple other things. I'd never seen the new White Claw they had, but the lady recommended the Finnish Long Drink hard seltzer thing. I didn't know it was gin when I purchased it, but it turned out to be delicious (if a tiny bit sweet), and my wife doesn't drink gin so there was more for me. I do kind of wish there was more signage regarding pricing. My home shop has every bottle priced, and it's nice to not have to accidentally go up to the register with a ridiculously expensive bottle, and then have to shamefully say I can't afford it. But other than that, it's a perfect little spot. The Circle W folks seem to nail it every time.

This wine store is Anthropologie-level cute. The manager has curated an amazing selection. She is knowledgeable, and took the time to help me find the perfect bottle for my taste. The selection is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great wine experience.P.S. The wine was delicious!

We stopped into this liquor store on our way to Tannersville, NY. Just so happened we visited on their Grand Opening Day! Lucky us. We met the owner and was chatting with her about the new store. You can tell she put lots of love into this space. It's cute, simple, modern and they offer a variety of beer, wine, liquor, seltzers and gift options. We ended up getting good old Tito's Vodka and several different seltzer options. Not White Claw or Truly, they don't even sell this. Ha. We got Ramona Wine Spritz in Blood Orange. My cousin swears by this drink so we got it. The owner said this is similar to a bubbly sangria. Ramona was quite delicious and now I want to try the other flavors. We also got another wine seltzer that was recommended, it was Archer Roose Rosé wine seltzer. Unfortunately it wasn't good and definitely had a bite to it. We couldn't get past the first sip so that 4-pack ended up being a waste. This is considered a luxury wine in a can. Not good. Not sure if we just had a bad batch but we couldn't drink this. Aside from the booze selection, they had really cool gift options. Booze canvas bags, bar supplies & equipment, cocktail recipe books, wine keys, etc. So many cool gifts. If you're in town and get a chance to stop by, definitely check out Rip & Wolf, it's not your typical liquor store and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
