I would like to thank an associate Frank for his help in purchasing a loveseat at the Palatine location where he works. I made an online purchase for a recliner and a loveseat, but it was showing in the system that the recliner is only at the Palatine location, and the loveseat only at the Big Lots location in Troy, which is an hour and a half away from my house. When I went to pick up the recliner at the Palatine location, I asked Frank about the loveseat and come to find out he had bought available in stock, even though it wasn’t showing online. I was able cancel the order at the Troy location and purchase it right then and there at the Palatine store and went home with both, recliner and loveseat from one location. It saved me a long trip to Troy, which like I mentioned earlier, would take me couple of hours of driving back and forth. Frank advised me to always call the store to ask about availability, before purchasing online, because the items might not be updated in the system. Thanks Frank for being so helpful and patient!

38 Dutch town plz is the place to go…
The nicest group of people that work in this store… They pretty must have anything you need from kitchen to bedroom to bathroom assortment of things needed…. Also have furniture for all your family needs…Outdoor furniture…umbrellas solar lights..rugs….the list is endless!!!it’s a fun store to shop at….go check them out?

The store and employees are great but the parking lot is horrendous. My mother fell because of how bad it is the landlord of that property needs to do his job and take care of his property. I'm sure he has no problem taking rent money from all those businesses every month.

I made a same day pick up order in the morning around 9am and it was still processing by 4pm. So I called the store and the employee told me my order for ONE ITEM for same day pick up was going to be ready in 48 hours. When asking why my order of one item would be taking 48 hours to be ready I was rudely hung up on. My local big lots has stuff ready in as little as 45 mins.

Prices are reasonable. Not as much stock as I would hope. Halloween things were great. Saw some things there that I haven't seen in other places.

Staff is polite and helpful. All the typical Big LOT type items... food, furniture, \\\"As Seen on TV\\\", electronic accessories, garden stuff, holiday decorations.
