This is the single most worse places to stay
Noteworthy details: The people that stay there are scum. A lot of the customers are drug users and tweekers would not recommend to anybody unless your homeless

We really wanted to use the outdoor pool which looked wonderful considering most places don’t have outdoor pools anymore, but we had to get down the road the next morning for other reasons. The bedroom was clean, they just installed all new stairwells to the second floor, which were very nice. They seem to be on top of keeping the place up-to-date. Bed was very comfortable.

I suppose a roadside motel comes with a certain set of expectations on what you’ll get, and to that end, it certainly met those expectations. However, this is the kind of place you stay as a last resort when you just need a bed and a shower for the night. If you’re looking for frills and comfort, you won’t find it. The room had an odd smell the whole time, which kind of icked me out. Unfortunately there were no other places with vacancies due to a music festival in Corning, and we were only staying one night. This place served its purpose, but it’s definitely not the sort of stop I’d make willingly.

This place smells like an old folks home. The people next to us were hanging out and smoking next to our room all night. And when I went to double check my room for items and use the restroom before checkout time my key was already deactivated. It was not even 11am yet. I was not happy. Why would you deactivate the room key before check out. If I left anything in that room, I am going lto flip out. Also we chose this place for the pool. It was closed only for the day we were staying, they should have given a discount for that as it was a amenity that was featured when we picked this location.
Edit* I found a worse hotel and will be upping this one by one star. I at least felt safe here.

We were sceptical about the hotel when we saw the negative reviews. But still booked it as it was inexpensive. Different from the negative reception, the room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall service was good.
Rooms: The room is spacious and well lit
Nearby activities: Little Joe Tower is just 6 min drive from the hotel. Watkins Glen state park is 28 mins from here
Walkability: Lot of grassy area for walking
Food & drinks: Breakfast available.

Meh- I made the mistake thinking it wss an older charming/cute motel for a nice weekend getaway that was a bit cheaper than comparable hotels in the area. You get what you pay for. It is simply a run down budget motel and clearly past its prime. Our room absolutely stunk of musty/smokiness from decadea back. Everything in and out was in need of replacement. Even the toilet /plumbing was a mess. I noted of people living there as well as evidence of their decoration of doors and windows. Take that as you will but i know some may not want to vacation where families live in a motel room. Why not tear it down and start from scratch at this point..

I was not happy at all, we are 2 handicapped people, when I made the reservation a few weeks ago, I specifically put on the reservation we needed 2 queen beds, and carpet, downstairs. When we first got there they gave us a room upstairs, we didn't go to the room because there's no way we could get up those stairs. They changed our room, to a room with hard wood floors. My partner has a sleeping disorder which is why we needed carpet because if he falls asleep on a floor like that he can fall easily. We go back to the office, mind you we didn't go into the room just opened the door. The girl tells me the rooms were assigned and they can't move us. I said your not going to tell me that all these rooms were booked a few weeks ago and you can't move me, and that if he falls and gets hurt, you will be held accountable. Let me tell you how it took the 5 seconds to move our room, (liars) Then the toilets are so low you might as well be sitting on the floor. I never knew they made toilets that low. No grab bars in the bathroom at all. I get up the next morning to take a shower and the water has no pressure we had to stand really close to the water knobs while the water basically trickled out. Now he's the best part. The first night we stayed we didn't use the blanket because it was warm in the room. Now the blankets are tucked In tight from half way up the bed to the foot of the bed. Saturday we used the blanket because it got chilly we get up Sunday morning and my partner says look at this there's a huge piss spot on the side of the bed ? that's the size of a basketball ? where evidently someone's dog peed thank God it was on the side of the bed not on the top but that's disgusting. Then on the bed where my granddaughter slept there was some brown stuff on the sheets. There was garbage all over out side, The steps to upstairs look like their going to collapse. The place looks like it's falling apart. Needless to say we will never stay there ever again.
Rooms: They are a good size and could be nice if they was cleaned properly and upgraded, like put in new sinks so they don't look like their going to fall off the wall. I think the guy I talked to said they had a handicapped room with 1 king size bed. Do they think handicapped people all travel alone or with just 1 person ? I don't understand why all hotels/Motels only have handicapped rooms with 1 king bed.
Nearby activities: Lots of things near by peaches and cream ice cream you have to try, Jelly Beans restaurant has really good food there's a few fast food places, walmart, tractor supply, aldis, home depot, are all within walking distance. We seen a playground up the street.
Walkability: There's plenty of places to walk I do have to say if you go behind any of the buildings your in There's a beautiful yard that's very pretty best thing about the place.
