People at the register are also friendly and patient. Some items are hard to find and less available, and prices are a bit higher compared to other locations.”

“The cleanliness of the Japanese market is exactly like Japan. The market prices are a bit expensive, and the Royce chocolates I bought in the store are about 2.3 times more expensive than those I bought in Japan.”

“The meat section could use some TLC, there was an open steak package mixed in with the prepackaged steak. In front of the butcher section the holding container (not sure if that’s the term) it did not look clean at all with stains under the meat.”
“I think they need to go down on the prices.This store was opened about 40 Years ago. Made for people that have a large family, A Rebbe or someone that learns in Kollel.The prices the was unbelievable cheap to according the Local stores. It's time to bring this store back and help out the local Family's.”
“Open 24 hours with a free parking lot and is a local institution for groceries. Sometimes the egg prices are the best. I like to grab already cut cold cuts from there. The honey ham, golden turkey, and the spicy chicken cold cuts. Virginia Ham is good also.”

It tastes delicious but eating it out of the cardboard box isn't for everyone.

“While being located near the yankee stadium, this is one of the most diverse supermarkets that I always enjoy going to. I love the variety of foods and how fresh they maintain the products. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I really like how some of the isles are separated to embrace different cultures and to make it easier to look for specific ingredients that you want. They certainly have a large selection of Vegan/ plant based options.The seafood section is extremely fresh and the employees there are extremely helpful. The spaces are clean and the items are easy to obtain while shopping. They also assist you with your parking ticket , when you spend one $100 dollars, they validate your ticket up to two hours. I love that about them. The staff and management are extremely helpful and this one of my favorite locations.”

“Store is neatly organized cannot hate on that. But you got some High ahhh prices on items that ISNT expensive in other stores. Either way it will make any smart person go to another Grocery store. 64 ozCran grape shouldn’t be almost $7 a bottle especially if it’s concentrated juice and non organic yall are tripping fam. Also GET RID OF THE SIMPLY PRODUCTS. that stuff is POISON and they are being SUED right now in court(Manhattan ). This grocery store needs to fix their prices ASAP or they won’t do well this year in sales and it will only get worse.”
“Foodtown is actually family they are the only supermarket in east harlem that treats the customers as family they solves the problem they speak to you respectful,there prices are descent and management is awesome they fish and meat market is ok as well”
