Place is really great! Saw some of the other reviews, not sure how people were displeased. I thought the staff was helpful and kind. Selection was large and fantastic! I came with my girlfriend, and we both found something here!

I keep wanting to consign clothes here .But they are soooo strict on making appointments. Every other place I've gone to including high end consignment shops don't ever say " make an appointment.Even with three items .And I have brought my things here in the past . No matter who is working here they are so abrasive. They go through your things and just dismiss you . And if you ask them questions they are snippy and moody.Especially the one tall blonde ice queen that works there . She is so cold .Not a warm , inviting place to want to do business or shop .

Got a nasty look the second I walked in and wasn’t greeted or acknowledged at all. Continued to get nasty looks as I browsed. As I waited to check out (I didn’t even want to purchase due to the continued disrespect), the staff member saw I was waiting to check out and left me standing there. I asked if my item was on sale because another customer was talking about items being 50% off and I was screamed at no the item just arrived (in a tone as if I was supposed to know). I asked general questions about how tags work and was scoffed at and got an eye roll.Beyond the staff, the selection was poor, pricing was very high (they had FashionNova items priced at $49+). I’m an avid vintage collector and this was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Fast fashion, thrift quality at consignment prices.

This place has some decent stuff, not high end designers per se, but some mid level stuff that's in very good condition and not expensive. Now, the staff on the other hand - the ladies are a couple of the most unfriendly people I've come across in a retail shop in a long time. And, their phone manners are poor; abrasive, like why are you bothering me vibes. They hate life? They hate consignment? They hate clothes? I don't care. Don't make it my problem. They ignored me so hey, I ignore them back. Big deal. Sorry ladies - It be like that at the Next to New.

Walked into an empty store with the owner behind the counter. Asked if the sold Coach and Michael Kors bags as I have some to sell. She very bruskly informed me they are too busy. I have to make an appointment which will be available July 12. Lol, is that a joke? Musta been my brown skin that made the empty store too busy to look at two bags. Oh well, as an avid thrifter and consignment store shopper, I'll be skipping this store in the future.

U have to get lucky with the selection here because they cycle stuff in and out very quickly. It's overpriced in relation to other thrift stores. Shopkeeper was very loud and abrasive. Told me to put my stuff back after I tried it on which is very strange and has never happened to me - even told me to color coordinate it with the racks which was very annoying and not my responsibility

Walked in and the person behind the counter was too busy on her phone to be bothered to help. After waiting a polite amount of time, I asked my question, to which she responded abruptly. I love how superficially these people judged their potential customer. Provincial. If you can't be bothered to be courteous, you have earned this review.

Immediately as I walked in, the worker (or owner - I don’t really know) began profiling me, looking me up and down, even with as neatly dressed as I was. I got a “Can I help you?” complete with attitude and a scowl. I asked if there were any watches on consignment and proceeded to browse the jewelry. When I asked to see a ring and it didn’t fit, I thanked her and politely declined. With increased attitude and clear dismissal, she’s said “OK THANK YOU NOW”. I turned around to leave (because who wants to be surrounded by that energy) and could hear her muttering louder and louder under her breath as I got closer and closer to the door. I cannot recommend this store to anyone and will tell friends and family to steer clear.

Always a unique find to be found in prime condition with more interesting pieces than you can find in department stores. Jola has a great eye for fashion and always gives helpful input. Also very well organized. A pleasure to visit.

No customer service, if one isn't on phone call the time, the other two are in the mirror trying on clothes, they ignore you and are not welcomingToo bad their stuff is pretty nice, but unpleasant to shop.

This place is an absolute go to spot for low priced designer clothes shoes and bags nestled in the lovely town of Oyster Bay. I always find something great and basically brand new for really good prices. The items are all designer names. This is the best high end consignment shop on Long Island if you ask me. Others are just overpriced. I love how everything is color organized. The half off specials are great. The ladies who work there are always very nice. I shop here and at Beacon in union square nyc.

Worst experience. I walked into this place and wasn't greeted it was like I didn't exist. Anyway I took a look around most of the things I could find online, new, for half the cost. Anyway to get to why my experience was so horrible. I walked to the women at the counter. First time she has looked at me while I've been in the store for at least 5 minutes. I asked her a couple of questions regarding some clothes I had brought in. She gave me a look up and down and proceeded to give me a bunch of excuses as to why she could not look at my clothes. If you want to survive in 2020 as a business customer service is of utmost importance. This business clearly does not understand that. Good luck.
