Tom is the Bomb ;)
He & his crew took care of our tire needs super efficiently! He let us know that we really needed 4 new ones, but offered to replace just the 1 that couldn't wait so we could continue our road trip :) Thanks guys

Had a breakdown on Rt 54 A and they came out to help in less than a half hour Good honest suggestion for needed repairs should be done by a dealer. Can't ask for any better service.

This is a review for the purchase of a used vehicle from the used dealership part of the business, not the mechanic shop. Unfortunately, I was sold a lemon that has needed $3,000+ in repairs in a year of owning the car/7000 miles of driving, despite paying in the upper tier of the licensed dealer blue book value, trusting that the vehicle was in better shape than it was.The first month of owning the car I did not notice immediate issues as I only drove short 10-15 minute distances around town a couple days a week. Once I moved and began driving more and longer distances, the list of repairs over the last year includes: replacing rear and front brakes and rotors, replacing ball joints, tie rods, thermostat, serpentine belt, multiple rims and tires repairs, and much more. Most of this work should have been done before selling me the car.For example, a couple months after purchase when I moved out of Ithaca, my trusted mechanic showed me how unsafe and worn my rear brakes and rotors were. I was told by Tom the brakes were fine and that a noise I was hearing from braking was just from the car sitting for a long time and surface rust. He also showed me how rotted out the ball joints were and that they needed to be replaced. This was confirmed by a 2nd mechanic shop when I brought it in for inspection. Another example is that I was sold the car, I was told the tire pressure' sensor coming on was simply a sensor issue and that the tire pressure was fine, which seemed to be the case for the first week of driving. I was aware this particular car was known for overly-sensitive sensors and went with it, however, I kept losing pressure for weeks and it turns out the wheels were so corroded the tires were losing pressure - it had nothing to do with the sensor. Once that was repaired the light stopped turning on. Later, bad steering, harsh vibrations, clunking noises, overheating engine and others led to a spate of other trips to mechanics as mentioned in the list above.TLDR; despite being a certified dealer with a well-reviewed mechanic shop, it was clear no effort was made to make needed repairs to the car before selling to me. Not only was this unsafe but very costly and a major headache. I recommend you avoid purchasing a car from them, or at the very least, bring the vehicle to a trusted mechanic for inspection before purchase (as I should have done). The issues I encountered in a short period and not many miles of driving would be more expected from buying from a private party and not a dealer who also has an on -site mechanic shop.
