If you want it done right, bring it to Skip at Port City Machine. I've had him remachine about 10 engines over the years and they all worked out great.

I wont go into detail because I don't like speaking bad about any person or business. I will say however, I had a terrible all around experience. I will not be back and I would not recommend this place to anyone based on this visit!

Skip knows his SH** if he recommends you do something, it's because he's been doing this stuff for years!

Many years ago I lost my only race car engine while in a battle for rookie of the year. That was when I first met Skip. They scramble to get me an engine together for the following week, and we were back on the track and got that title. I will never forget that. Great guy right here.

The best, not the cheapest, but those two never go together

Very poor communication. Estimate went up as Port City Machine made sequential discovery to the point it was more than 2x the original. Port City Machine claims this was related to my lack of understanding. I am wondering who is suppose to be the "expert". Not truthful and unwilling to resolve issues. I would find another machine shop or at least get everything in writing.
