We were passing through from out of town. My car started shifting gears strangely, smelling, and smoking. We pulled in to Burritt Motors as my car was about dead. They looked at my car right away and found a bad brake caliper that almost completely seized a front brake. They gave my friend a ride to the car rental place. They did the work the next morning when the part came in. My car was waiting for me, all fixed, on our return trip. The price was perfectly reasonable. A possibe worst nightmare turned out quite well. Thanks to Brad at the service desk, and Paul, the technician who did the diagnosis and work.

I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership I bought my truck from. I presented coupons for a brake job from the dealerships website. They refused to honor it. Their response was a third party places the coupons on the website. That is a bait and switch anyway you look at it. Extremely disappointed in the experience.

They were very nice and all, but there’s a couple reasons why I only give three stars. For starters, they didn’t tell me what exactly I would need when coming in for my purchase when it came to paperwork and this made the process take a lot longer. Second, they didn’t have the second set of keys for the car on hand and I had to go back. And third, luckily it was a rainy day otherwise I would not have noticed that the windshield wiper on the vehicle they sold me was defective. They happily put a new set on, but it was an unnecessary inconvenience.
And all this is on top of the fact that the car I wanted, which was on their online inventory, was not available even though I called them to ask about it and they set up an appointment with me to look at the car. Luckily they had a comparable car that I’m happy with.
I would probably use them again, though not as a first choice.

They have the most incompetent salespeople in the country! I bought a car from them paid them cash in full was setting up the vehicle to be shipped and then 2/3 days later they tell me they sold the car! I call and nobody helps, I left the OWNER 6-7 messages and no return call from him either. Clearly the employees were trained by the owner as none of them are held responsible for their actions.

I’m not sure where to start with any of the experience I have had. I bought a Jeep patriot from this place back in April of 2022. Since the first week of purchase I told them there was a transmission problem. I kept getting blown off. 4 months into having it it was sent into their Jeep service center and sat in their parking lot/garage until the end of March of 2023. They kept informing my calls and emails. Giving me run around answers. Told me that their machine was showing that there was a problem with all 5 major components of the vehicle for it to work properly. After contacting the Attorney Generals Office and Jeep Complaints directly about this issue, they suddenly “fixed the transmission”. Well, things went well for a little while then almost 5 months after they “put in a new transmission”. I had to bring the vehicle back for the same issues. So, once again the vehicle was brought back there to be fixed again. I was told there was a 6 month warranty. Then the story changed to there was a mileage warranty. Long story short. We went back and forth for a few months, then all of a sudden they COMPLETEY STOPPED CONTACTING ME. I haven’t heard anything from any manager, worker, service technician, the owners assistant, NOBODY since the beginning of the year. The last thing I was told by them was it was fixed and then when they took it out for a test drive it was doing the same thing.
But do the math. I’ve been religiously paying on a vehicle loan for the first incident $430 X 8 (without having a working, drivable vehicle). And now we are going on $430 X 11. That’s how much I have paid on a vehicle that I am not able to have in my possession to drive. These people really screwed a single working mother of 4 children over.
The ONLY thing I asked for was for them to get me out from under the loan because it wasn’t fair that I was being taken advantage of by them. According to them they put multiple new parts into it to try to fix it and it’s still not working. Why don’t they do something more to help since they’re the ones who sold me a lemon?
I had my brother go there personally when they told me they had it in the shop and were actively working on it just to see that it was still sitting in their parking lot untouched.
This place is not worth the headache. Please save yourself the troubles.
