Hidden charge every time you use your debit card. Would be nice if this was posted! Never again!

Wowza. What a fun find! The place is totally Bigfoot dedicated and has a ton of cool internal and external murals. You can compete in the Bigfoot pancake challenge -- if you dare. Lots of merchandise - from food to gifts. Restaurant is good. Staff is kind and accommodating. Such a cool place literally in the middle of almost nowhere.

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. Service was terrible & food not much better. Definitely DON'T RECOMMEND!

Stopped for a late breakfast.Food was fine, service was terrible. Waitress complained about having to work Sundays, no silverware, no coffee refills. With only 6 covers in the place, I waited 30 minutes for food and part of my order was missing. If they’d used half the time spent painting their wall murals to train their staff, it would have been great.

I love this place! They've got a nice variety of groceries, prepared foods, gifts, camping supplies, sweatshirts, beer, gas - even books and sometimes houseplants, for sale. They have great coffee, sandwiches and, what my son declared..."the best fish fry I've ever had". I make a point of bringing my friends here whenever possible.

I've spent a lot of time over the years traveling throughout the Adirondacks, but this is the first time I really noticed U-B's, so I stopped in for breakfast since the nearby Hillside Diner recently closed. The service was friendly, and breakfast was very tasty and well-prepared.The whole place is adorned with bigfoot-themes paintings by a local artist, who I'm told is a retired school teacher. A sign indicates "one stop shopping", which it indeed it is. It has a little of everything, which is important in such a far flung, sparsely populated area.Driving along state route 3, you'll notice along the side of the road a parade of American flags planted in the ground that stretches for several miles. Every few feet among the flags, sits a boot, in honor of our fallen war heroes. This is the handiwork of U-B's owner, Kim, a proud veteran herself, she tells me, and the plan is to stretch the flag memorial parade for 30 miles. Quite an impressive memorial.Anyone travelling through the area needing to stock up on supplies, or grab a bite to eat, would be well served to stop in to this quirky, but utilitarian outpost, because there's nothing else around to satisfy one's needs for miles and miles.Five stars.

This is a weird 5-star rating. This place is in the middle of nowhere and painted up to a Bigfoot theme. The food is decent, but the owner and staff are wonderful sweethearts and the owner is having an incredible amount of fun. The Bigfoot theme is inexplicable, and really pushes this to a must see place. The owner did all the painting herself. The menu is extensive, and it's very much a diner. There are a lot of baked goods, but I'm gluten free, so I have no idea. She's just having more fun baking like the wild woman that she is. She's just adorable and this is kind of like something out of a David Lynch movie, only happy sane people and with no deaths.

First time there found out the next day they way over priced their liquor compared to places in the area, said something and was told it's because they are rural, obviously not that rural if I can compare prices. Recent and last trip. Went to top off some propane tanks, the lady even said this one is almost full when filling it up. I go inside and she charges me two blanket 25 dollar fill up fees for my two tanks that combined only needed 8 gallons. This place obviously rips people of they don't think are local. They'll learn, my family spent 1000s each year, no more.

Not from the community of this business, but on my way up for thanksgiving I stopped in to Ubs Mercantile and would not recommend. Not the cleanest place, bathrooms were dirty as well. I’ve also looked at the other reviews and can agree that I did not get the service I expected. From what I was told the service I received was from the owner and if that’s the case you would expect so much better. If I ever had to stop again it would be for gas, because I feel it’s the one thing that can’t go wrong or cause me a problem.

This would not be a place of business I would recommend to dine at, shop at, or stop at in an emergency. Surely I don’t believe it would be the employees that are at fault but the owner. The owner is one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional “business owners” I’ve ever had an encounter with. I’ve come across many problems with this place the first being it’s not a steady environment. When my family and I went in their for a breakfast we watched her treat her employees in such an unprofessional way that if that was I, I would have left. It was embarrassing to watch, especially with them working through COVID like it was nothing. Credit to the employees who cooked us a nice meal though. I’ve stopped in lots of times, giving lots of chances but I’ve had bad food cooked by the owner, not even edible. I’ve also seen some of the spoiled food she keeps in the cooler out front because it seems she’s a little cheap to throw any of it away. Also I don’t think this management took the covid spread very seriously in the beginning and that was a concern to me as well. Again I don’t want to be that rude man because I know the employees work hard and do their job but it’s just something about the owner who maybe should even run a business if she can’t do it right.
