Extremely rude to their patrons. Every time I have gone into this establishment, I have been made to feel less than. It is as if they feel bothered to have a customer in their store. Their wine selection is poor as well.

Rude to their patrons, overpriced, dusty establishment, & horrible selection. I've only gone when I'm in a pinch bc it is the closest liquor and wine store to my home, but not anymore. Enough is enough. They have earned their bad reviews.

ZERO STARS !!!! WARNING!! DO NOT GO TO THIS "ESTABLISHMENT!" Short story: The owner(s) of this establishment are super RACIST and SUPER prejudice!!! I repeat this is not a drill. If you are Black, brown, white or anything besides Asian ... do not come here!!! Long Story: My lovely fiancé came here 2 weekends ago to buy liquor for a party we were throwing. We usually go to the liquor store in briarcliff (where the owners know him by name by the way), But due to their limited selections in other libations besides wine we decided to patronize this _____ hole of an establishment. Besides them watching my fiancé like a hawk. Once he got to the register and pulled out his platinum American Express card (with his full name on it ),the cashier (the owner) decided that It was too good to be true for a Black man to be able to have an American Express card. (Keep reading it gets better) He looks at my fiancé, then the card and asked him ... "Is this your card?" My fiancé was shocked and actually on a business call while trying to check out. He responded "yes this is my card." The owner continued and said "I don't think this is your card." He also stated the the signature on the back of the card looked slightly different from the signature on the receipt. Long story short ! My fiancé canceled his transaction and told this racist man and his wife to go fly a kite. For those of you wondering about the signature, my fiancé only has 1 signature... secondly, what you should be asking yourself is if he was White OR Asian if this would of happened to him !!! I'm appalled and disgusted, and I will be calling the BETTER BUSINESS Bureau.

We're totally not critical customers. We moved to Ossining 4 years ago and this is our most convenient wine shopping. It's not fancy but that's ok. We've spent a ton of money here we like our wine. It's clearly family owned and we like that. They are never very friendly which is a bit off putting but we're not shopping to make friends. Today my husband shopped there and because of the virus they have a partition that you slide the shopping basket under. The guy was trying to take the basket to his side while the handles were up so my husband was trying to put down the handles and accident touched the guys hands. And he howled. And freaked out. And my sweet husband apologized profusely and the guy never said a word to him and never acknowledged his apology. Made my husband feel like a j**** The guy could've been kind and gracious but no. I would never try to hurt a family business and no one will read this review. I just can't help but share that this business owner could have been kind and professional. But he was a j*** and made my husband feel horrible. We won't go back.

I never write yelp reviews but I've been a regular at this store for the last 6 years. Family run business with a great selection considering they are not as big as the cost is or wine depots. In fact there have been several times when I ask the owner to order me a bottle of wine or rare whiskey that they don't hold so that I can pick it up next time. They do hold a few bottles of wine that you can't find elsewhere that are no longer in stock anywhere else. They have specials and discounts daily in the front of the store. A great place to stop by after grabbing a pizza next door or shopping at stop and shop around the corner.

If i could put a minus star - i'd do it. Bought 3 bottles of wine at this place - 2 of those turned out to be sour. Came back to exchange - got an earful from an owner, stating that this is how wine supposed to taste. Exchanged it for another bottle, nearly threw a receipt in my face - guess that attitude deserves a minus star along with bull#*!t he was feeding me about the taste - the guy can't tell a Nebbiolo from diet coke. Anyway, stay from that joint - there are plenty of nice wine stores around. Cheers !
