Had Chuck do a few different things to the vette the past year and a half and he did a great job. Then he decided to move to florida, taking the 1k deposit I gave him for heads and cam parts with him. He continues to give me the run around and not answer my calls or texts. Best part is ive been at his birthday party and home! Great corvette mechanic, terrible businessman and friend. Oh well. Make that 1k last in florida chucky! Ill be filing a civil claim even though he has a million out on him. Maybe next time i see him in ny cleaning out the old shop in the middle of the night ill stop by.

I’ve dealt with Chuck and CoW for many years. Although he is extremely knowledgeable, Chucks reputation for not being able to manage his workload precedes him.Back in April we discussed and planned a new rear end to be installed on my car.He took a $1,300 deposit for additional parts which needed to be ordered.Since then I have called and emailed almost 12 times across 6 months and have never heard back once.At this point I have filed a police report to document the incident and started a small claims suite.It’s unfortunate because he used to be one of the best.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my 1999 Corvette to Chuck for a CoW Booster and street tune and I am very satisfied with the results. Chuck knew what I was looking for and delivered, the car is more responsive and alive with the tune!

Chuck is a pure crook. Run in the other direction. Brought my truck to be tuned and he did the worst tune imaginable. Stalls out and everywhere and doesn't even want to shift. He also told me he was having an issue with coolant gauge being all over the place reading temp. I thought this was odd because I've had the truck for 7 years and never once had that happen. He claimed he fixed the coolant temp sensor pigtail. ALL HE DID WAS WRAP ELECTRICAL TAPE AROUND THE EXISTING WIRES AND CHARGE ME ANOTHER $100. I called him to fix it the night I picked it up because the truck was almost undrivable and he got immediately defensive saying it's my transmission not his inadequate tuning job. I took my truck somewhere else instead of going back to have everything retuned correctly. How funny my transmission is fine, but he wanted to sell me a $7000 transmission build. $1,000 down the drain

The owner Chuck has zero customer service skills. His voicemail says if you hang up and call back to leave a voicemail you will be blocked. He will give you every excuse why he didn't call you back, except for the real reason: he could care less about working on your car. He is beyond arrogant and thinks he is the only person that can tune a car or do repairs. His lot is filled with cars that haven't been touched in a very extended amount of time and will not call you to tell you when he will get to your car. If this is the "A" hole you want to deal with good luck!

I recently bought a 2000 vette with fairly low miles and what I thought was overall decent condition. After 2 weeks the car was having some serious electrical issues and was basically unreliable. This car has become a can of worms but I took it to Chuck after a few mechanics wanted nothing to do with it. This guy went above and beyond , worked day and night ( yes some nights into 2-3am) even causing some delays on other projects he had planned. He took before/after pictures of every major repair, explained in detail what he did and was very professional and he knows his stuff. He is also very fair in price. He spent 40-50 hours working on this nightmare are I would ? % recommend. Please don’t get caught up in negative reviews. If you want a job done the right way it takes a little time, especially with many corvettes parts no longer easily available.

Chuck just recently worked on my 2002 C5 Z06. It was grinding 4th and 6th gears, he replaced gears and synchros. He installed American Racing headers, a Vararam intake and tuned the car. On top of this he took care of so many other things that it needed; relocating brake lines, new serpentine belt, thermostat, etc. He even changed the battery. He did so many things he never charged me for. The car runs amazing. It is lighting quick and sounds fantastic with the headers and titanium mufflers. I am extremely pleased with his work. He will take you through everything he has done, explain why he did it and basically give u an education. He is very knowledgeable and is meticulous with his attention to detail. Chuck knows what he is doing. I am happy I chose him to work on my car.

I wouldnt even leave ONE star if it wasnt required. If you are looking for an honest, thorough, respectable person this is NOT your guy. I was mislead and lied to constantly. Was advised he would troubleshoot free of charge and when he couldnt figure out the issue he refused to return my deposit that I left for a tune. After NUMEROUS attempts to contact via phone, voicemail and email to no avail I decided against his services. When requesting said deposit back I was denied saying that it was being applied to the time he put into the car which was previously promoted as being free. Do not trust this weasel or you WILL REGRET IT. Ignore all of the 5* reviews on here or anywhere else as they are puppets and probably friends of his.
