“This is a small store with a huge inventory of wonderful and useful products. We especially like the New Hope Mills pancake mix, but they have all types of goods for baking, snacking, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their sandwiches are the best anywhere! And the staff is always helpful and friendly.”

“Helpful and kind employees.. easy to check out. Meats are priced reasonably, and you don't have to clean the chicken breasts like the waste Walmart ads on theirs. Which is 2.98a lb. Hannaford runs 1.99 for breasts alot and for a while. They also carry Portuguese sausage. Very hard to find.I love Hannaford ❤️”

“Nice grocery store especially for quick visits but I hate that you must have a coin on you to be able to grab a wheel-cart, also usually just one cashier is working and a huge line behind. No express lane, so most of the times I grab one item because I'm on a hurry but have to wait behind people with fully loaded carts. If I had the time I would go to Walmart for broader spectrum of items.”

I have been a member from before inception…that’s how important this member-owned food co-op is for our communities. The food desert along route 20 hits 4 counties! “This is one of two Grand Unions in Oneida County, the first in decades, and the first in the region since the Hamilton store closed in 2009. Price Chopper and Tops' merger forced the latter to sell ten in the state to C&S which revived GU. It was only the second one this year I've gone to after Cortland. It's new to the young people, but older folks will remember. Not quite the Grand Union my late grandma went to in Albany County, but like the old days, having it out of reach only makes me want to go back. Now if they could just replace closed Tops's in Syracuse on the south side and Westvale as well as Ithaca on S Meadow Dr and Great American in Star Lake.”

“Last year we taste tested about 14 ciders .. Old McMarleys is really the best. We go often and buy half gallons because a gallon spoils before we can drink it. This cider spoils after a few days because it's the real deal - not chemically charged.Pay attention to the labels and ingredients at other places, they often contain pear juice, and some don't even say Cider on the label.McMarleys is authentic and is a beautiful scenic road too,. be careful pulling out of their driveway - people drive too fast on the road and their is limited site distance.”

“The Munnsville store could be any gas station in Upstate New York- what sets them apart however, is their great food. We’ve ordered three times now and have not been disappointed yet! The chicken tenders are crispy and not over fried, the subs are fresh and the portions are generous, garlic knots are soo good and not to be ignored… their phenomenal garlic wings- the wings could be the best I’ve ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the cashiers are friendly and courteous. I’d definitely recommend ordering if you’re looking for something quick and delicious!”

“The staff here are excellent. They work hard and have great customer service. DG Corporate should know they have a great crew in the Vernon store! I’m in at least once a week for the past 5+ years and have ZERO complaints. Store is never messy, everything is well stocked and organized. You’re doing great work!They’ve also added more refrigeration so they have a wide selection of frozen foods and also sell milk, eggs, cheese, some meats like bacon and deli meats. This was a huge upgrade for the area.”

“At a nearby airbnb, the toilet clogged up. There was no plunger in sight, and it was too early to call the owner. The Mrs had to go bad. We drove into town, where she found relief at a laundromat. Out of curiosity, we stopped in at Falls Village Market to see if they had coffee. We laughingly told the nice lady in charge about our little disaster. She loaned us a plunger! The coffee, btw, was great.”
