Worst pharmacy. Rude workers. Waited over 24 hours for breathing meds. Got hung up on twice. Never got my meds. Had to call someone else

This Rite Aid is the bees knees because its open 24/7 even on holidays. It's great for a late night beer run! Pharmacists (notably the drive-thru) and staff are always kind and work fast. Heavily stocked with items beyond the usual pharmaceuticals.

Went here for a passport photo (renewal). It was quick, which was good. The girl tucked my hair behind my ears for my photo, which made for an awful photo. It is not a requirement for the Dept of State, they do not need to "see your ears," as she said. Hair behind the ears was not a requirement for my prior passport book or card photo, and I doubt it's a requirement now. If you want a decent passport photo, do your research and speak up if this isn't the case. Caveat Emptor.

I used to enjoy this Rite Aid; it's well kept up on, always organized, etc. Lots of parking and it is the only 24 hour pharmacy I personally know of in the West Seneca/OP area which certainly provides some appeal when needed. Today, however, I had a very unfortunate experience with this pharmacy [NOT the regular store portion- that remains to all be fine]. To alleviate as much length as possible, essentially two scripts were expected here following a visit to Immediate Care across the street, which also has its own review from me for the experience. After the appointment, the individual in need of care and I arrived to pick it up and it was not ready yet, which was more than fine and also anticipated. We were told to call in 20 min; instead, we went to lunch so about 40 min later, I called to follow up and I was informed no script was received. Many calls occurred with me attempting to rectify this issue with both the pharmacy and the Immediate Care location. Immediate Care was claiming it was sent, yet Rite Aid had no record; Rite Aid was reporting to me after another round of calls (from me) that Immediate Care supposedly stated so and so was not in the system and didn't exist. Rite Aid repeatedly told me I need to call Imemdiate Care and every time I did, complete opposite information was being provided. You can imagine my frustration here. After call 3 (I think?) the pharmacist stated they would call, yet they did not within 15-20 min so I handled it by driving back to Immediate Care and speaking to someone in person. 20+ minutes later after being promised a verbal script would be given, Rite Aid (now also in person) now claimed that none of their 5 staff members had even spoken to anyone from Immediate Care. I truly almost lost it at this point because I have someone who needed to be home resting and getting well and instead, I am dealing with this madness. Standing at the pharmacy, I urged them to call Immediate Care themselves because this had gotten ridiculous. They obliged and we sat inside this time until it was taken care of. At this point we were 2.5 HOURS past the time we left Immediate Care. Somewhere along the line, someone clearly neglected to complete their jobs and this led to the person I was caring for remaining out and about and in pain hours longer than was necessary which was avoidable and also unfair. While I do note that obviously I cannot ever be positive of where the break in communication happened, even the lack of concern from their staff was remarkable and it made the whole process even more frustrating. The Rite Aid pharmacy employees were all self-absorbed and unkind; the woman who we dealt with the second time there in person was by far the worst. While waiting I watched her blow her nose and then touch medications without sanitizing, as well as coughing into open air. Gross! There was ONE woman, a sweet brunette with long wavy hair that was fantastic and she stood out from the rest because of this. I was thankful she ended up personally cashing us out and handling any follow up questions or updates during our wait time. I would not suggest anyone use this pharmacy (again, the store itself is fine) unless it is truly necessary because the pharmacists and employees are unprofessional, cold people and are furthermore obviously incredibly disorganized. This pharmacy is horrid and needs to re-evaluate their goals of customer care.

This Rite Aid has made my life much more manageable. I do shop in the store however the review is for the overnight pharmacists who have helped me save on 'scripts. The store is cool. Beer here is cheaper than most places. I am not a drinker of beer just a purchaser. The sale prices are good if you know what it is that you are looking for and you are able to compare. Now on to the best part. My fav's! The two overnight pharmacists! I don't use any prescriptions meds however my hubby does. I work during the night and always pick up his meds around 2/3 am. There have been times where our medical coverage has been weird - don't get me started on what other countries do for their citizens - and these two special gentlemen will work with me to find the lowest cost per 'scrip so I don't have to pay top dollar and wait for reimbursement post 10k spending. They compare prices using the "Rite Aid" plan, which is good, and also utilize those cool cards that you get in the mail offering up a lower prescription cost. They have saved me mega bucks and not one script has ever been run through my insurance - which would require full cost applied towards 10k spend down. Minor, actually a major issue. I picked up a prescription for my daughter. She was pregnant at the time. Pharmacist knew this because I had been picking up pre-natal vitamins for her. Anyways, I stopped to get the 'scrip and he questioned the validity of the actual doctor ordered prescription. Telling me that it was contraindicated for pregnant women. Long story short, he may have saved my grand-daughters life. My only go to pharmacy. These guys are smarter and care more than anyone I have ever met in dealing with Big Pharma distribution.

Hate this location, never went back after one girl working in the pharmacy accused me of abusing my prescription medicine. Turns out THE PHARMACY was not logging it into their system when I picked up & refilled my medicine. I was so deeply offended- who did she think she was to accuse me of something so serious & wrong? I now go to another location where I have had no problems at all.

I give this location 4**** because it's actually one of the nicer remodeled ones in the Buffalo area. Good selection of goods. Not exactly sure how else to review a chain drug store....
