I did the 6 week 20 pound challenge at this gym and it was the best thing I could have done for myself! The trainers are beyond nice and they go out of their way to help you and accommodate you in whatever way you may need! I highly recommend this gym!

I completed the 3 week, 10 pound weight loss challenge. I needed this kickstart after lots of bad habits built up during the pandemic. What I like best about the program is that it aims to create a healthy lifestyle change. It was really fun to cook with health ingredients and to get a little creative in the kitchen. My husband and I did the program so we got to explore some new recipes and workout together. The gym classes are intense but are also really lively and fun. They move along so quickly and are made up of all different stations so it keeps it interesting and engaging. Every staff member we met was super friendly and helpful. I only have positive things to say! It’s designed so that you will succeed if you stick to it.

I just completed the #10pounds3weeks challenge at Core Capacity Transformations. I set a goal of loosing 10 pounds and I lost 13. The weight wasn’t necessarily the goal for me but changing some bad eating habits and lifestyle choices was. The nutrition recommendations and workout classes have been extremely effective. I used to be passionate about healthy food and exercise but the allure of convenience trumped spending time and attention on this area of my life. This program was an awesome way to reset, feel better, and put myself back in the driver seat to make healthier choicesMy wife and I both completed the challenge which looked like working out together, shopping and cooking together, supporting each other throughout the process and at times competing! It’s been fun and brought us closer together. The whole team at core is supportive and fun and you really feel the team atmosphere. I definitely recommend the challenge to anyone looking for a good way to jump start healthy changes.

The trainers are great. I have limitations and can’t lift so they modify each workout for me so I can still get the best workout possible!

It takes a lot for me to write a 1 star review but I’ve had enough. Don’t ever give this company your number. My friend gave them my number for some promotion without my permission and they have been harassing me for two years now. I’ve called them and pleaded with them to stop, blocked numbers, responded “stop” to their texts as it instructs you to, and they’re still contacting me. I don’t know how to get it to stop. Don’t give them your information if you don’t want to be harassed as long as you have your phone number.

I would give a NEGATIVE 2 Star Rating for Core Capacity.Customer Service from the Administrators of Core Capacity is very poor. After I completed the 6 week challenge with them at the Henrietta (Rochester) I signed up for a full membership and paid over $1100 in full for the year. Within a week and a half, The main office and administrators in the Orchard Park (Buffalo) area decided to shut down the Henrietta location with only 1 day notice and through email sent to the Rochester area clients. Some clients showed up Monday morning for their appointed class times just to find that the doors were locked and the place was closed without even a sign on the door explaining what was happening. Those people had to find out through an email that was later sent to them telling them that to continue with any challenges or memberships, they would have to go to the Buffalo locations or do virtual (zoom) workouts. Members of the Henrietta location have been trying to contact the Administrators in Buffalo to get their refunds of money paid for challenges and memberships since October 2020. As of today (3/5/21) it has been 5 months still without any direct responses or refunds issued. Core Capacity hired a legal firm to handle the clients in the Rochester area but they also have avoided in rectifying the situation of the many people that have been affected by the closing of the facility and not refunding the money due. I would not recommend Core Capacity to anyone due to the way they treat their clients and the poor customer service they provide by avoiding in doing the right thing in providing refunds to their clients. It would be appreciated if Core Capacity would contact it's members from the Henrietta Area directly and refund their money. Amalia (Emily) Folino Perez

First challenge I did was the 3 week. It was good. But the 6 week challenge is way better. If your thinking about losing weight and want some help this is the place to go. They give you so much help and all the tools you need to succeed.

Terrible customer service. Do not return emails or voicemails on critical customer matters. Do not follow guidelines set in their own contracts. Poor communication. Failed to notify members of two locations closing, while weighing people in and taking money for a challenge the day prior. Sad business practices.
